I visited this place a few months ago, before their temporary closure, and I’ve been meaning to write a review. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. The meat tasted old, dry, and unpleasant. The milk tea was watered down and had a strange, powdery taste—like a mix of flour and sugar syrup. The sushi was just okay, but there was barely any fish; most of it was just rice. The meat was chewy and old. Nobody was at this restaurant when I arrived.
The service was poor, and things got worse at the end. We couldn’t finish all our sushi (6 pieces left), and they insisted we stay and finish it or else we’d be charged an additional $15. This left a bad taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally. I even ended up feeling sick after eating there.
I had seen an influencer on Instagram rave about this place, claiming it was great and worth the price. However, I now suspect they were paid or got free food to promote it, because the experience and food were far from good.

Is this closed?
Sure enough, it’s a scam to become a member. The store is gone even if you don’t use up the money.

We went on last night Sunday at 6 pm. Restaurant was almost empty. Ordered ayce. Were told only six oysters left for our table of six (2 kids) and no more oysters. Beers were all sold out. At 6 pm on a Sunday? Food was mediocre at best and totally not worth the money we paid. Waitress was friendly but we definitely won't go back with how much they charged. Not worth it.

missed drink order, nothing is in stock, the 100 dollar A5 ribeye was something that resembled a mish mash of discarded meat trimmings, what a disaster

It’s misleading here, I saw online a big menu of AYCE oysters and sashimi. We got a menu and sat down, and found out AYCE menu is small and you only get 6pc of sashimi OR oysters person. not worth $58 a person in my opinion.

The employees here were very friendly. We didn’t try the food so we aren’t sure if the quality.

There was a decent selection of sushi, but they limit the number of oysters/sashimi you can order to 6 per person. For $58 ayce, this seemed low. We went with a group of 10 people and made the mistake of booking the private room, which had a minimum spend of $800 - the restaurant was 90% empty in the main dining area on a Saturday night, so that also wasn't a great sign. After tax and tip, this worked out to be $100 per person which is almost the same as what we pay for the buffets in Vegas. Similar to other reviews, they were not bringing out the full quantities of what we were ordering and it also took a long time between each order. Staff were nice, but we probably would not go again.

This is great pricing at lunch time, and this combo can have a bowl of noodles, crispy salty chicken, and one bubble tea.

Noodles are tasty, delicious, and with full bowl and filled up our stomach!

Crispy chicken is also yummy as well, and
Crispy too.

Space is enough for big group of people, but the only thing is the parking spots not enough for lots of customers, plus most spots only limited to 1 to 2 hours

Hopefully sooner can get more spots for more customers

This is a very nice restaurant in town

I was a little nervous reading some of the recent reviews of this place, but I'm adventurous so I gambled on my tummy.

When I tell you, everything I put in my mouth today was amazing. There were a few dishes that weren't as good as the ones that I loved, but gosh dang. That Sashimi they had was so fresh and so tasty.

The limited options didn't stop me from getting to experience a wide variety of dishes that I can't usually have at other AYCE places.

Also I have no idea why people are hating on the dessert. I loved its subtle flavor.

Service was also great! The staff here are so friendly.

Moral of the story. It was good.

All you can eat Food quality was mediocre

For the price of 70$ it was horrible. I would not go back and would don't recommend it to anyone.

Staff was friendly though.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF STEPPING INSIDE THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT. I wish I could give this place -100000 stars, the one star is way too much. Everything is really bad from the place, to the food, to the service. We were a group of 5, we got seated and as soon as we sat down there was a very strong bothering smell of cigarettes, it felt like we were eating next to a smoking area. We thought the smell was coming from outside, but the more we stayed the worse it got even while eating (maybe they smoke in the back who knows!!). The restaurant is not clean at all, bathrooms too.

We made the first order which included sashimi, the very salty dry bbq and sushi. For the sushi we asked for 10 pieces that all of us are going to share (5 people), order comes out and we only get 6 pieces. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe the waiter didn’t read what we wrote properly. Then we made the second order for some more sushi (4 different types of sushi) for all of those we wrote down orders of 10, the waiter came back with the receipt they attach to order paper and to our surprise he decided we were only gonna get 4 pieces for all those 4 types of sushi’s we chose. Out of curiosity we asked if there was a limit and they pulled out a very bizarre excuse saying they were afraid we weren’t going to finish the food and there is only one chef that makes the sushi so if we want the rest of them we have to wait for hours. I asked how would the chef know that we need 6 more pieces of sushi of all the 4 types if they haven’t let him know or typed it in the system, the waiter started stumbling over his words and said no problem I will ask the chef to make more. Do we have to keep poking them every time for a little more pieces which we would expect to be at our table all at once? Just tell me how would the chef know that table x needs 10 pieces of California roll if the waiter wrote down in the list 4 pieces of California roll and gave us the order paper back ?. Like excuse me!! I have been to multiple AYCE places not just sushi ones in different cities in Canada and was never dictated the number of food I can order. We told the waiter that they were scamming people and they should’ve been clear about the whole ordering process as soon as he picked up our order, read it and decided to type whatever he felt like in the computer for the kitchen to make it.

They need to be transparent about their rules and say that customers won’t receive the number of orders they asked for but they will rather get what the chef, waiter or owner thinks is good for the business. this is just a tactic they use to make people give up on ordering more because there would be longer wait times. Very stupid way to save money and save on supplies. You’re just losing your reputation at this point. All reviews talk about the exact same issue.

Usually AYCE restaurants charge you for every piece of food you don’t finish by the time you’re paying the bill. It’s a different story here, these guys decide how much you have to eat.

They even decide on salad portions. You ask for 3 orders, you get one small bowl ?.

Also, if you’re being accompanied by kids please know that they won’t be allowed to eat the same food as adults, they pay $20 each and they won’t let them order sashimi or oysters. It’s not written or communicated anywhere that the 6/order sashimis they allow are for adults and not kids we had to ask to learn about this information. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Anyway, moral of the story this restaurant is a scam, I would rather starve than eat their food, or waste my money at this lower than mediocre place. We all left the place very pissed off, and very disgusted by the service, atmosphere and food. Business owner, please close down if you’re going to treat your customers this way and voluntarily choose on their behalf what they have to eat and how much they have to eat. The bigger issue is that it’s not even that cheap $58 for a
