The top recommendation is chicken skewers?, deep fried pork belly is a bit too fat and tastes bland.

A restaurant specializing in Thai and Malaysian food. Lunch specials are available even on weekends. Food was ok, but was not outstanding. It did come with a gingery soup. There were also beverages from Malaysian including teh tarik. The restaurant is not very big, but there are seating for 2, 3, and 4 guests. Food came out pretty quick after ordering. Lots of different options to choose from.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Food is not at excellent level but it definitely scratched my cravings for Malaysian food (and sometimes Thai flavours). I wish they opened the patio more often, maybe I always caught them on the wrong day.

We ordered several foods , pad thai was terrible as if the chef was stingy on the flavour , you eating pad thai and just tasting boiled noodle, amount is good but although when the food has no taste you lose your appetite, it was like a knife to the heart. If they promise me that they will fix their pad thai I might give them another chance maybe.
Located in the heart of Steveston Village right on the wharf. It is challenging to find parking during the weekends. Very welcoming atmosphere. Vide variety of Malaysian Food. If you like spicy food, this is the place to visit. Our seating arrangement was outside, right on the waterfront deck, wich excellent view of the fraser river. Food was excellent and thw spice level was perfect. Will definitely revisit this place. ❤️

The worst Malaysian food I have ever tried in Richmond, the food is like leftover...

Great gluten free options!
Very impressed with the quality of the prawns
Both really enjoyed our meals.
We accidentally arrived very close to their afternoon close and they stayed late for us, thank you for being so accommodating!
Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options

We had the most enjoyable dinner here last night. The flavours, the presentation, the location, the wonderful people that own it, just made the evening perfect. The food is absolutely delicious and highly recommended!!!!!

I've been coming to Kari house for years! The food is amazing, service is great, portion sizes and menu are huge, great patio seating outside and inside is cozy. This is absolutely my comfort restaurant. Highly recommend! :)

I will highlight negative points with *.
Fresh, Authentic. Been going for decades.
My Family likes this place, because food is authentic, the ingredients are fresh and the service is warm and friendly.
The spicy level is geared towards caucasian patrons. But also reasonable for most people who can handlena little bit of spicy. I suggest 1, chilli pepper level for most people.
For anyone else that is truly Chinese HK or Malay, Thai and ALL Real Jungle Asians they can handle *capsicum*(death) level Spicey, then go for 3 chili level. This is just a good amount of heat and enjoyable.
**The price is reasonable but slightly expensive for you get what you pay for though, but shutdowns at 8. Too early.
Big parties should book in advance, this is a small place.
**The Non Alcoholic beverages are fancy but over priced, alcoholic beverages are slightly over priced.
**Domestic beer needs to be under $5 not $6.
This is Richmond.
***Our Laksa came with two different noodle types. They didn't ask what noodle we want.
None of us ever seen this happen, we do not like when places mix noodle types.
