Had a very good time there. Very popular in lunch time. And if you are a frequent regular and local, you get free ice-cream!!!! Highly recommend place!

Typical looking Japanese restaurant. Yoko’s service and attitude were top notch. Great value for the food. Will definitely go back and their gift card idea is great.

Me and my son came in quickly to eat some Sushi and it was an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Everything was brought out in timely matter and the miso soup was amazing. The atmosphere is very kind and you almost feel like family the way the staff treat you. Would come back again and highly recommend to friends!

Kiyo Sushi is a nice little spot with fresh ingredients and a good variety. The oysters were really fresh and the chirashi don was great — nicely presented with a good mix of sashimi. It is on the expensive side for what you get, but the quality is there. Service was friendly and the place felt clean and relaxed. A good casual sushi option if you’re in the area.

My second favourite sushi spot in Richmond for authentic, simple and delicious Japanese food. More affordable than Edokko and they have great set and specials.

Service was great, but food wasn’t. Nice to see they have beef sashimi which isn’t common, didn’t get to try that but the sockeye salmon sashimi wasn’t very fresh.

Pretty unfortunate as the service staff were excellent! With a little improvement on their food quality, this place has the potential to be a 5-star.

An excellent dine-in experience at a friendly authentic Japanese restaurant. Consistent high quality of fish, the mastery of the sushi chef, superb service and warm ambience marks this restaurant one of the best Japanese restaurants in Richmond.

We visited a kiyo restaurant for Mother's Day dinner. This was our first and last experience.
The sashimi was not fresh and overpriced. We tried various dishes, including melt-in-your-mouth thin sliced foie gras sushi, thin sliced warm toro, hamachi, salmon toro sushi,
hot and crispy soft shell crab,
tiny deep-fried oysters, chop scallops,
crispy chicken mango roll, prawn tempura, chewy beef sashimi, boiled BBQ squid, salty salmon kama,
and two large beers.
The total bill for four people came to $320.

Sashimi Lunch Combo Review: $25 is somewhat tolerable price for what you’re getting: 6 pieces of sashimi (small pieces). 1 yakitori chicken skewer (not bad), few pieces of tempura (mainly shrimp and fish, average) with what appears to be tartar sauce, marinated spinach (ok), and half a California roll with 3 pieces of maki (average). Includes miso soup. Supposedly comes with rice but they forgot to bring it despite confirming? However, quick service despite being busy.

I am from Seattle and this is the first Sushi place I went to in the great Vancouver area. I do not know how good Sushi restaurant generally are in Vancouver, but this place is legitimate. It is better than any sushi restaurant I have been to in Seattle in the past 4 years.
