Spicy crab roll tasted like expired meat that’s been in the garbage, 15$ for 5 thin small slices of salmon sashimi. Every portion of sushi was small for how much it costed.

Walking in, we did have a small wait for a seat, but as soon as a table cleared up we were able to sit down.
Menu selection had me stumped. A lot of amazing different options, but we landed on some sushi, rolls, tempura and karaage.
The House Special Roll is bigger than it looks. It’s huge. Delicious, but huge. All the food we ate was very good - having been to Japan it sufficed in giving me what I was looking for in sushi restaurants.
Service was very kind and attentive. Atmosphere is very nice and is comfortable to sit in. Attention to detail is great and being able to see the sushi chefs work is awesome.

Had a very good time there. Very popular in lunch time. And if you are a frequent regular and local, you get free ice-cream!!!! Highly recommend place!

Typical looking Japanese restaurant. Yoko’s service and attitude were top notch. Great value for the food. Will definitely go back and their gift card idea is great.

Me and my son came in quickly to eat some Sushi and it was an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. Everything was brought out in timely matter and the miso soup was amazing. The atmosphere is very kind and you almost feel like family the way the staff treat you. Would come back again and highly recommend to friends!

Kiyo Sushi is a nice little spot with fresh ingredients and a good variety. The oysters were really fresh and the chirashi don was great — nicely presented with a good mix of sashimi. It is on the expensive side for what you get, but the quality is there. Service was friendly and the place felt clean and relaxed. A good casual sushi option if you’re in the area.

My second favourite sushi spot in Richmond for authentic, simple and delicious Japanese food. More affordable than Edokko and they have great set and specials.

Service was great, but food wasn’t. Nice to see they have beef sashimi which isn’t common, didn’t get to try that but the sockeye salmon sashimi wasn’t very fresh.
Pretty unfortunate as the service staff were excellent! With a little improvement on their food quality, this place has the potential to be a 5-star.
An excellent dine-in experience at a friendly authentic Japanese restaurant. Consistent high quality of fish, the mastery of the sushi chef, superb service and warm ambience marks this restaurant one of the best Japanese restaurants in Richmond.
We visited a kiyo restaurant for Mother's Day dinner. This was our first and last experience.
The sashimi was not fresh and overpriced. We tried various dishes, including melt-in-your-mouth thin sliced foie gras sushi, thin sliced warm toro, hamachi, salmon toro sushi,
hot and crispy soft shell crab,
tiny deep-fried oysters, chop scallops,
crispy chicken mango roll, prawn tempura, chewy beef sashimi, boiled BBQ squid, salty salmon kama,
and two large beers.
The total bill for four people came to $320.
One of my favourite places for sushi in Richmond
