Owner Feng is the most humble and polite host I have ever met! The rolls and all dishes are five star it is our favourite restaurant - I highly recommend. Can't wait to dine in person as I feel like they are family. DOMO!!!

Reminds me a mild danbo. Very similar but soup less rich and creamy. At least no line up!

Went in with my daughter during peak dinner time and only 1 table was seated, no line up. The lady asked if everyone in the party had arrived, I said no coz my mom was parking. She didn't let me sit and wanted me to put my name on the waiting list. I said these were all empty tables and no one's waiting. She said it's their policy. Ridiculous! We left and went to line up at the busy sushi joint next door. Poor attitude and never going back. You can keep all the empty tables to yourselves.

nice thick geniune tonkatsu broth (mixed with chicken broth) without a lot of oil. Not fresh made noodle, but its is cooked right, thats always a plus. Its refreshing to have non oily, super savory ramen. Dont recommend the rice bowl though, a bit on the steeper end on the pricing

Already been here twice in the last two months so they must be doing something right. Easy parking and comfortable seating for our family with young children. We will probably be back again since it's a great location for us. Service was good, food was good. I really like the mini chasu rice bowl add-on option. And there is a noodle refill option for less than a twoonie! We will be back?

First time here and went during the work week with a coworker for lunch. Outside the restaurant was a male staff member who welcomed and led us right to a table. Soon after we were given menus and asked what type of beverage we'd like tea water pop. Opted for water but found out they charge for tea so keep that in mind if you like tea. For food I opted for the combo option of mini ikura rice bowl + ramen. For ramen I picked the spicy miso ramen with regular level spicy. When it arrived I took a spoonful to taste the broth. It was very spicy and made me cough hard and eyes water. It could be because they used a spicy powder or oil which was still on the surface and I just got a high concentration of it in the spoonful. My mistake for not mixing it first. After that initial taste and mixing the ramen the meal overall was good. The mini ikura and rice was a nice light addition and ramen broth was spicy but would probably go mild spicy personally. The service was very attentive as staff always came around to top off my water. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I would recommend and come here again.

This restaraunt is somehow connected to Takeya and Ichiro. A mix of Japanese and local hire staff, the service was good. They were trying, but you could tell they were still new to it (at least as of 28No19). Not nearly as bad as some have made it out to be.

The best tantanmen I've ever have in Vancouver, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The flavor is decent but the portion size is horrible. The bowls are small for what you pay compared to other ramen joints. I won't be coming back anytime soon.

They look at me the whole time while I am eating, I feel very uncomfortable, the most important thing is that they ask me do I have enough money to pay? I feel so disappointed

The food was bad. The guy that Oscar Kan said was me. The staff was asking me do I have enough money to pay the bill!!! What ?! I’d never bring ask for do I have enough money to pay the bill. The food taste bad, the green tea needs 50cents and it’s only the tea bag!! Bruh.

Food was a bit pricey, and the value wasn't the best. Food value wasn't bad though, but service was a bit off. The host lady forgot that I was standing at the door waiting for a seat, not very pleasant.

Delicious broth and a nice thick piece of chashu, with tasty ramen - warms the soul on a cold and rainy day.
