This is the best fried chicken in town

Came here with really high hopes for the fried chicken. Ordered a 4-piece spicy combo, but was given original flavor instead. The skin wasn’t very crispy either, and it didn’t taste fresh out of the fryer.

I'm writing this to save you the $16 for 2 pieces of soggy chicken so you don't have this terrible experience.
I used to come here often and looked forward to eating here when I came back to Vancouver. I was last here in November and it wasn't great but thought maybe they had a bad day. This time I read the reviews about how it's gone downhill and thought... I might as well try it again...at least know if it's a new owner. Not a new owner. Well I was really disappointed. Like how can someone hate his loyal customers so much to give them soggy reheated chicken. It was just heated when I came but still so soggy as soon as I received it. Also very little flavor. I've never had such sad fried chicken and it's really sad to see how bad it's become especially since they had something really good. Why would you want your customers to be sad? Anyway I certainly won't come back and hopefully saved others the money and disappointment.

It’s fried chicken. Almost every person I know loves fried chicken. I would never refuse fried chicken, and I’ve had many names and backyard gatherings of them over the years.
My first impression is great! Crispy and juicy. Very fresh and hot. The spicy is my favourite. I must say it’s very close to Churches but less greasy. I was having movie night at home and decided to cross over to Richmond to grab some. No regrets, definitely tasty! 😋
I would definitely be a returning customer.

Fantastic chicken, the best chicken gravy out there and the fries are good as well
My first time at this restaurant was definitely my last. The food was mediocre at best, like you could make chicken much better at home or even at KFC. Even the fries were mushy and lacked salt or pepper.
To make matters worse, the person taking our order seemed angry and overworked, as if he was being paid tooooo little.
And don’t even get me started on the spicy chicken. It wasn’t spicy at all.
We ordered several pieces of spicy chicken, but we got original flavor. The chicken is juicy but has a fishy smell and tastes not fresh. Both chicken and fries are overly oily. There's too much oil in the gravy. It tastes like a lot of flour was added. They made the seasoning themselves.
Man we used to come here all the time for delicious chicken, fries and the BEST gravy. Sooo disappointing now, the food is greasy AF and the prices are insane. $4 for a small gravy?
Mary Browns gets my business now, but I still miss the gravy.
As soon as i walked into the store smiles faded and they rushed me to order. i ordered the wings(after a long back and forth interaction, asking about the food with no clear response)
a group of people walked in and they were greeted with smiles and thanks for coming by. nothing changed as more people walked into the store. i was the first one there, got the smallest meal, and was still the last one served. my guess is it was a racial thing ( all the customers and workers were asian except for me.)
