Food is bad and fries are so bland worst I’ve ever had! Went back in to grab a water and they wouldn’t sell it to me unless I spent an additional 10 dollars..

Ordered a 2 piece combo only to come home and open the meal and they forgot the gravy. Went during peak hours. Suggest double check what you order before leaving.

It used to be good. They changed the way they fry and the recipe. You get better chicken from Church’s now

Some of the best fried chicken in town! I do wish that they actually invested in a second phone line just for their credit card payment system...so we can order ahead of time, given how busy they are.

Struggling to understand why this place has such a high rating for fried chicken. To me, it’s the worst in Metro Vancouver, worst than KFC, Church Chicken and Chicken World. Meats are dry, not juicy. Seasoning is bad, too salty. Can’t find any positive points

LA chicken is one of the best. This is My go to restaurant everytime We have layover here in Vancouver. Chicken was so good and their gravy is the best. They always give me extra 1 pc chicken for every order. Staff very nice and serve the food very fast. Free parking in front and there's a nice park across the restaurant where you can chill and relax.

We had heard from a friend that LA Chicken was supposed to be good, which is why we went there, but our experience was the exact opposite. It was, hands down, the worst experience I’ve had in Canada.

First off, the restaurant itself was filthy. There were spiderwebs everywhere, and everything was greasy and dirty. The washroom door was left wide open, adding to the overall unappealing atmosphere. When we arrived and saw the dirtiness, we became hesitant, but having driven all the way from Vancouver to Richmond and being so hungry, we decided to order anyway. In hindsight, I wish we hadn't.

The food was absolutely disgusting. We ended up throwing more than half of it away and went somewhere else to eat. We ordered half thighs and half breasts, but we didn’t get any thighs. What we received were mostly bones with barely any meat, and what little meat there was didn’t taste like breast meat at all.

I generally love fries, but the ones here were terrible. They didn’t even taste like fries; they tasted like they’d been fried in filthy oil. We threw them away too.

I strongly discourage anyone from going there. If you do, be prepared to eat the most disgusting food of your life.

I recently went to this fried chicken takeout place to order and wait for my food, and it was by far the worst experience of my life. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a nauseating stench of old, smelly oil. The whole place reeked of it, making it hard to even think about eating the food.

As a fried chicken lover, I had high hopes, but they were quickly dashed. The quality of the fries was abysmal—soggy, greasy, and flavorless. I can't believe this place has decent Google reviews because nothing about my meal was acceptable.

The chicken pieces were a nightmare. Instead of the usual thigh, legs, and breast pieces, I was served chicken necks and wings. It felt like they had scraped the bottom of the barrel for whatever scraps they could find.

The cleanliness of this place was the worst I've ever seen. There were spider webs everywhere, the counters and equipment were filthy, and the restroom door was propped open with boxes. It was clear that hygiene is not a priority here.

This place is an insult to fried chicken. If you value your stomach and taste buds, stay far away from this horrendous establishment.

Ok, I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now. I usually read reviews before I even attempt to walk into a place unknown.

I must admit, the reviews are right! One of the best places to get fried chicken. No disappointments.

I got the 10 piece Family Meal (10pcs chicken (half/half), "Family" (large) fries, and medium gravy).

They have the right crispiness level for both the spicy and regular, surprising as I usually have to order the spicy in order to get that satisfying crunch. Anyways, the spicy is quite light on the "spice". The fries were good, although I like my fries extra crunchy; they were soft to bite into but still had a crispy exterior. The gravy. What can I say, but wow! It's actually made with a roux (flour, fat). I've never in my life experienced real gravy when ordering fried chicken. Needless to say, that's some tasty gravy ?

I was told to wait 5 minutes when ordering, and that's what I got. My regular chicken was still piping hot when I bit into it 10 minutes later. The spicy one was still hot, but had cooled.

Overall, what a pleasant experience. I didn't even get the prompt for tipping as there wasn't one ?. You honestly can't argue with the price. I've never ever gotten a 10 piece, large fries, and a regular gravy for $35 or anywhere close to that. Go to Churches or Jollybee and it's easily $10 more.

Super friendly, counter staff. Fast service and you get what they say.

This might just be my new go to place whenever I'm in the area. Gotta watch the weight though ?

One thing that you might want to be cautious of is if your parking there. It can be a little on the more compact side. Still space between cars, but watch out when someone is pulling out.

Parking: Be careful and be aware when parking. It's a little compact. Watch out for cars backing out.
