Located in Richmond Golden Village, 3631 Number 3 Rd #170, Richmond, BC 🇨🇦 where Golden Szechuan was before in Tom Lee Plaza across from Canadian Tire, before they renovated and changed to Marina One Seafood Restaurant. Now it is called Lanxuan 澜轩荟 Restaurant with the same concept as prior with just a few menu items and staff change, the rest is the same.

Dim sum from 10am-3pm and Dinner 5pm-9pm open 7 days a week.

I prefer the old staff, they were more attentive, but some of the new dim sum items are unique like the crispy shrimp toast and tofu bucket 😋 quality still yummy and fresh.
The abalone sui mai was the standout dish, offering a unique twist compared to the usual recipes around town. You pay for what you get with the elevated dining experience and quality, costs a little more than your standard establishments, but not quite fine dining prices.

The Cantonese dim sum they offer is lighter, making it a good choice for older customers.
Spacious and bright interior with reasonable sized ♿️parking which is rare. The high ceilings and ample spacing between tables are a step above the competition.

Only compliant from the elders since Marina One renovated, this establishment have mixed gender community bathroom 🚻 although it kept clean they dislike the new generation type of facility even if private stalls. For me it has nothing to do with the restaurant food that I came for.

Will return give dinner menu a try in the near future, it also looked interesting 👍

We have been to Lanxuan twice for dim sum, first time with a friend and second time as a couple. The greeting and staff were very pleasant; the second time the manager made a point of coming by several times to ask if we were enjoying the food (I think he could not believe 2 Caucasians had ordered the jellyfish) The menu is extensive and has the usual southern Chinese dim sum foods as well as some nice extras which we have not had a chance to try yet. Everything we had on both visits was fresh, hot, and flavourful. Looking forward to returning for both dim sum and dinner. A note re parking: the smallish lot at the front off No 3 Rd is shared with Tom Lee Music and apparently the latter are quite defensive of their spaces. There is however a parking lot behind the building which has a lot more spaces for the restaurant so there's no need to take a chance parking across No 3 in other place's lots.

We'd never experienced such a tasteless King crab 2-eats and Bejin BBQ duck skinned wrapped. The cook's job are totally below average. We were eating at a single room but seriously influenced by the noisy neighbors until they're finally done.

Is this a Michelin recommended restaurant?
Do NOT go!
1. Waiter threw dishes on the table. Before customer finished food, waiter took the dishes away.
2. When customer say thank-you twice, waiter never responded but turned away.
3. Waiter watching customer paying the bill when customer was chosing option for tips.
4. 90 minutes limit for dining, but less one hour manager yelled and rushed customers to leave when customers were drinking tea after meal.
5. No service on clean dishes. When customers asked for extra set of dishes and chopsticks, and a clean dish, waiter intentionally served only one clean dish without providing for extra set of dishes and chopsticks. When changing new dish, didn’t replace the unclean one.

Food is ok but the serviced is awful. Does Michelin really help the restaurant to maintain good service to meet the criteria of Michelin standard!

I was very impressed with the food here! Very high quality and delicious. Service was good but you can sense a bit of rush but i understand they are busy with a full capacity. This is one of the best tasting dimsum ive had here in lower mainland. Highly recommended!!

We made a reservation for 7, when we showed up a few minutes early we were told that the table wasn’t available (the place was almost empty). Had to wait for about 10 minutes. It was a Friday lunch time. We were only allowed 1.5 hours dining time - even when the place was almost half empty.

I would say the service we experienced initially was one of the worst in Richmond. When we asked the hostess what their guest WiFi password was, we were told that she is new here and we have to ask someone else. Imagine she’s the hostess, who doesn’t know much about the restaurant!!! It was on the dim sum menu. One server asked me to move my leg (I was sitting comfortably chatting with the person next to me and I was facing the person) so she could set the tea pots…. There was an empty space one seat away(see one ofvthe photos) I guess they have very good business so they can behave like we owe them for allowing us to eat there.

Food was quite good. Atmosphere was Good.

Parking is terrible. Not enough space. My friends had to park across in the Yaohan mall parking lot (beware - can easily get a ticket for doing that).

Overall if you have another choice. Avoid this place.

Every dish tastes amazing - highlights were definitely the duck, king crab, and pork ribs! Also, the staff is super attentive which is rare for an Asian restaurant haha

I was disappointed with the service from the reception staff and the ventilation/air conditioning was not strong enough.

Yummy and unique dim sum, nice service, very hard to find parking because many spots are reserved, washrooms could be cleaner.

Dining is okay dim sum is good.
In the party room was so hot. Big temperature difference between dining room and the party room. This is a big draw back!!!
Today lunch again! Dining room was so hot!
Manager said nothing they can do. A/C power is very weak! Receptionist is so cool not friendly at all! Asking her questions but she didn’t like to answer at all.

Some of the best dim sum dishes I had this year! And trust me I go to a lot of dim sum places with my mom 😆 har how, abalone siu mai, pan fried sticky rice chicken & the rice roll with fried sliver fish were what we ordered. All very impressive. They are on the pricy side. But go before noon you get 10% off and free charge of tea, which could save you almost 15% off the bill!
