Leisure Tea & Coffee is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The drinks are always fresh, delicious, and made with great attention to detail. Their milk teas have the perfect balance, not too sweet, and the fruit teas taste super refreshing. The staff are friendly, quick, and always greet you with a smile, which makes the experience even better.
The café is clean, calm, and a great place to relax, study, or meet with friends. If you’re looking for quality drinks and great customer service, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I had lunch with three friends of mine there. I ordered a waffle and asked for syrup, the server rudely refused to give me and told me to have the waffle without the syrup. I asked for the syrup the second time and the server finally gave me but only very little syrup. The food was average, but the SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. Definitely not returning.

Called them at 10:40pm for takeout and they said they only have limited items available because they are closing soon. Felt rushed to pick up as they kept emphasizing they are closing at 11pm even though we were already there. At 10:40pm they already had their closed sign on the door. Please be more considerate of your customers who rely on Google store hours to make a trip out there.
Edit: called them at 10:15pm on a Friday to place an order. Again, they sounded hesitant to accept the order. Very strange. If they want to close earlier, perhaps just change the hours?? Food is good but this aspect of service is missing.
This café is run by two lovely grandmothers who are the sweetest, most polite, and respectful people you’ll meet. The menu has an amazing variety, and everything tastes wonderful. I always come here and order the mixed mushroom and egg sandwich—it’s absolutely delicious! The place has a calm, cozy vibe with vintage-style furniture and walls full of old-time pictures. Truly a hidden gem with amazing food and a warm atmosphere.

Warm cozy Taiwanese cafe that's reminiscent of old style Japanese cafes (kissatens). Love the design a lot, it's got charm and style. Food, dessert and drinks are decent. The appeal of the place is it's decor. What a vibe!
this place is too expensive. The banana split was just banana and c
low quality icecream with nesquick chocolate dressings on top $10.50. You're also forced to order one item per person so you can't even share a dessert with somebody without being kicked out. Everything on the menu is overpriced incase you're forced to order anything else, even a single small cookie is 5.50... also you can't split the bill, and after 2hr you'll be kicked out too. ridiculous rules.
Omg! We just found our new hotspot for coffee &tea! Ive been living in Richmond for 6 years now and I wonder why we have never been here until just last monday! Thank you for having these coffee shop open until 10pm 🥹🫶
While it is within a stone’s throw from many of Richmond’s other Eat Street offerings, this establishment is truly special because it combines great desserts, snacks and drinks in a unique social setting.
As we stepped off from the main street, it felt as if we were transported to a quaint countryside cottage. The dining space was memorable with its (faux) brick wall interior, countless framed pictures on the wall, and the space illuminated by lamplight that was gentle on the eyes. There was a calm evening breeze from the window, and a light background hum from the conversation of the other visitors.
The menu items had considerable range and variety. There was enough selection in there to impress not only grandma over tea and sandwiches, but also a large group of mates for a post-dinner dessert session.
My wife and I were impressed by their Strawberry Crepe and Caramel Pudding over a milky slushy. The crepe was made to order with fresh cream and fruit. The Caramel Pudding was melt-in-the-mouth and its sweetness meshed with the refreshing shaved ice beneath it.
Both desserts were enjoyable when paired with our drinks: the bitterness of the coffee helped wash down the heavier flavours of the pudding and cream, and the warm Tofu and Red Bean (豆腐花红豆) drink, being lighter in flavour, was a great choice to finish the night with.
Keep this place in mind the next time you and your group are after a leisurely spot to chat and snack the night away. The description is in the name!

I only found out this place a few years ago, regret that I didn’t know it earlier! The chicken sandwich is to die for, also love their shaved ice. There are too many items on the menu, will have to go back more often to try. Service is very good, server was very polite and food came very quickly.
Rude service seems to be the standard here— based on other reviews and personal experience. Food is basic. Lots of better places in the area.
Pretty queerphobic location. Avoid if you are queer and don't wanna be gawked and stare at.
Came back here after couple decades. Scones were delicious.
I m not a cafe high tea person. But I just went there in a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere there is very comfortable. I don't feel the annoying noisy coffee machine sound that most of the coffee shop has.
