Level V Bakery has an impressive selection of vegan pastries, and it was honestly hard to choose because everything looked so good. We tried the strawberry matcha tiramisu and the sea salt chocolate chip cookie, and both were phenomenal. The tiramisu had a rich matcha flavor balanced perfectly with strawberry, and the cookie was soft, indulgent, and hit that sweet-salty combo just right. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and you can really tell a lot of care goes into their desserts. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries. They’re located inside the same space as Whisk Matcha Café, which makes it an easy and convenient stop for vegan treats in Vancouver. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-17

I ordered a cake for my son's birthday and it was really tasty. All the kids loved it and said it was the best cake ever. The order form online was easy to use, and I liked it because you can choose to have the cake made without some of the common allergens. We also picked up an ube mochi bun on our way out and definitely two thumbs up!

I went here a couple times years ago when I lived closer to it. Thank goodness I got my hands on a Too Good to Go box to reintroduce me to the bakery. What a great value. I had a couple mini mochi buns, a chocolate chip cookie, a pistachio/chocolate cake and a 3 layer strawberry/matcha/chocolate cake. Even a day old, everything was amazing. Just the right amount of sweet. I’ve also tried a pineapple bun (so yummy) and a salt bun which was good but I didn’t love it. I’ll definitely be back as there are so many more things to try, including flavours you don’t typically see at other local vegan bakeries. The bakery was clean, and the staff was helpful. There’s not a ton of seating but I was happy to take everything to go. Updated from previous review on 2025-12-09

Wow. Consistently a great experience here. Easily my favourite bakery in all of Vancouver after living here for a year. Buns and baked goods are consistently delicious with unique flavours rotating. Their Vietnamese oat coffee... 10/10. And their dessert selection is excellent. Kudos to everyone on the team here. Outstanding service and atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting here. For a quick treat or for a good meal.

I was skeptical that a vegan, gluten free, and nut free cake could be any good but I was proven wrong. I was very impressed with Level V and their work. Delicious and very pretty cake.

Is the icing for your vegan cake the dairyland press ones and how much food coloring is in your ice cream?

Beautiful and delicious cake. I asked for a minimalist decoration and couldn’t be more satisfied. Delicate, elegant and absolutely delicious!

I'm so happy this bakery exists. As a vegan, I often don't get the opportunity to try vegan versions of popular foods like tres leche cake, which they make here and it's delicious. I also love their vietnamese coffee selection. You have to try the Dalgona cà phê its the best!

The beetroot latte was amazing. Sounded interesting, gave it a shot, and I was not disappointed!!! They sell cute merch too.

Upon reading all the bad reviews on their service i was quite hesitant to come here but i said why not? i love matcha i want to be the judge….
And my verdict is i LOVE this place… its packed with huge windows and you can see the lovely vancouver rain and bonus point i got a lot of work done here

Now The drinks are pretty pricey but i get it because matcha IS CRAZY expensive now
But the pastry is good i got the black sesame crumble which was pretty decent but i loved the the basque cheesecake and churro cookie -(the main reason for the 5 stars)

Now service…. everyone has their opinion and their own experience but for me i honestly appreciated how calm and patient the man (who served me) was. I'm new and here he helped me out with all my questions and made sure i got my moneys worth! Which in this selfish economy this is a big WIN

He did a good job on not only advising me but also by making an amazing drink! Overall i loved my experience and 100% coming back

(The washrooms were not the best so i removed a point but it’s not their fault, i think they share it)

Tasty cakes, chill vibes. Staff friendly, though I think they could work more efficiently (both making drinks, no one at POS while queue getting very long, for people who want to grab and go). This was only from one visit though, I’m sure they are training and getting better. Cute place overall.

I’ve tried most vegan bakeries in the city for cakes and I can say this was the tastiest and the service was fab. I requested colours and style on the form online and they obliged and did a really lovely job. Everyone at the party loved the look and flavour of cake and cupcakes. They also do great coffees and lunches/baked goods!!

This place is fabulous! Their desserts, pastries, coffee, tea, boba, and ice cream are all on point - and everything is 100% plant-based. It's also pretty rare to find an Asian bakery/café that's vegan, so Level V is somewhat unique in that sense. Definitely a must try if you're in the Vancouver area!

This place is great for both pastry and tea lovers. They have a wide selection of different Matcha and Hojicha and a lot of east asian style sweets. I can only recommend going here if you are in the neighborhood.
