The gf mochi donuts here are to die for! I bought 2 for my husband and I and went I went back in to buy 2 more, the woman in line in front of me was doing the exact same thing - coming back for more! Highly recommend.
I like their strawberry shortcake and some of the pastries but they’re always a bit too sloppy with packagings. Flimsy thin boxes with no divider for no matter how many or what cakes you buy. Easily get messed up on the way.
Extremely bad attitude. Zero customer service skill from the two girls at the cashier. I was waiting and this guy randomly skipped the line and when we said we were here first. One of the two girls at the front said the line was supposed to be over there. Well you tell us when we were there not when someone cut the line!!!
Think of this scene....you are super thirsty in a desert and you come across an oasis, thinking you hit jackpot with fresh water... only to realize it was all a fake facade.
My boyfriend and I walked across their aesthetically pleasing display of baked goods only to realize we were tricked! Their stuff tastes like crap.
DO NOT order the Lychee Black Tea piece of cake. To my horror, the base of the cake is a half cut piece of the Korean LOTTE CHOCO-PIE. Who the F does that? There was no lychee/black tea taste at all, and it was just filled with cheap cream!! You cannot trick the customer. It's like buying a Costco lasagna and serving it in an Italian restaurant, and saying it's authentic. Heck, Costco stuff tastes better as you can't really tell! Also, please buy proper small pastry boxes as oppose to take out containers meant for salads, appy's etc...my single cake slice was squished due to the big gap in space in the container when I opened it back home, and no dine in option to eat in store.
We also ordered the canelé and it was heavily BURNT along with way too much dense flour what tasted like tapioca flour. There was zero taste! This not how a true canele should taste. They had the mould for it to make the shape, but that's about it!
As someone mentioned here, their Thai Milk Tea Mochi doughnut was gross. Not much taste and again, heavy use of tapioca flour and it felt like eating a super dense cake and not a donut! I don't even think this was deep fried like a traditional doughnut. Tapioca flour is super cheap to purchase at Asian supermarkets. I wonder if they even carry any real flour or cake flour?!
This place is not worth a visit at all, save your money and go to an actual bakery, not a fake one that pretends to be one.

Ordered a strawberry shortcake two days ahead. I picked up the cake at 12:00pm, and then having my cake at 12:30pm, found that the strawberry inside still frozen. Hope they can give more time to defrost the cake before let customer to pick up.

Ordered a sponge cake for my kid's birthday a week ago. Today we picked up and ate it at once, sadly, we found the sponge layers got too wet and collapse easily... Suspect that the cake was made at least 24hours or their skill was not good enough to make sponge cakes...

Ordered a mango shortcake for my son’s birthday. The sponge cake within was soggy. The strawberry on top is slightly rotten. There were a lot of cake order in the fridge so not sure if ours was freshly made.
Also ordered a canele too. It was slightly over (burnt).

It's the Black Sesame Mochi Double Baked Croissant for me. I have had cravings for this croissant. The chewy texture, generous filling, and perfectly flaky pastry makes it all worth it.

Have gotten various pasties and croissants from here before. Some of my favourites treats are the Salted Egg Yolk Croissant and mochi donuts. This time, I ordered a birthday cake over the phone for pick up as I had never tried their cakes before. The strawberry shortcake was great - cake was light and airy, cream was fresh and there was a good mount of strawberries in the layers - and most importantly the cake wasn’t too sweet! Prices got cakes are very reasonable :)
I would love to try other cake flavours next time.

Our family's absolute favourite bakery in Richmond. Exquisite baked goods; great coffee; friendly service.
One of our favourites treats is to take an hour out of a weekday morning to go to Little Fox, grab some croissants and coffee and take a walk along the riverside by River Rd (it's about 2 mins away by car).
Also, I think the business owner made a good move in choosing the storefront to be inside the mall. A very unassuming spot and likely good rent prices. Ample parking outside makes it a good spot for quick drop ins.
Special shout out: dirty chocolate croissants; anything London Fog or Matcha; lattes.

I tried cream puffs, it’s moderately sweet, and though I eat them a week later, it’s still amazingly fresh??
