Little Karp Seafood & Bar

Been here once for happy hour. Good atmosphere, so we choose it for valentine, but end up very disappointed. The valentine set is NOT worth it. 52 per person, does not include main. The lobster was dry and the best food we had was the table bread. Service is late and rushed. Server kept repeating “thank you for your understanding” as if this justifies a minimum 15% tip on top of a near 200$ bill. Avoid. Would recommend Hestia instead.

The food was great but the service was slow and the food didn't come out at the same time. We waited for a long time to get our check. We liked the environment and location. More attention to details would go a long way !

Inconsistent service from table to table and food is mediocre based on the price, can definitely go for a better western food experience downtown Vancouver for similar price. Redeeming feature: brioche was very soft and fluffy

We were welcomed and seated as soon as we arrived. Both the service and food were excellent. The crab spring rolls were crispy and tasty and our cocktails of French 75 were served with a flair. I've already recommended to my son and daughter in law that they should go to Little Karp.

That was a great dining experience. The food, setting, and service were all good .the squid ink pasta were cooked perfectly. I wish I can try out their Vancouver Dine Out set menu.

The food was not bad, the risotto scallops bites, rice was a little bit hard. Beef carpaccio was good. Service was ok.

The food was amazing. The brioche bread good lord. I don't have a single bad word to say about this place.

This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

I came here because of Rednote, where there are tons of glowing recommendations. After actually eating here, it really feels like those reviews were paid.

The food tasted like pre-made or frozen dishes. I genuinely can’t tell which dish was worse because none of them were good.

We hadn’t eaten from the morning until the afternoon and came here around 3pm extremely hungry. To be honest, if we weren’t that hungry, we probably wouldn’t have eaten more than a few bites.

As you can see in the photos, we left most of the food untouched.

The staff never checked in or asked “how’s everything,” and we didn’t feel comfortable bringing it up ourselves.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t come back or recommend this place.

This was first time having a business lunch for 2 of us. Since the menu changes monthly, we plan to come back again. I recommend the Dessert as well.

The restaurant is clean and has great taste. The staff are friendly and polite. The roasted chicken leg and beef served on a hot stone were amazing. The ice cream and cheesecake were delicious too.

Really loved Little Karp, the service was quick and super helpful, and the food was on a different level, the braised lamb was cooked to perfection and the chocolate mouse cake was the perfect mix of that dark chocolate bitter and sweet.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Richmond. I’ve tried both their brunch and dinner before, and this time we stopped by for happy hour since we were feeling a bit hungry in between meals. The oysters were around $1.50 each with the purchase of a drink, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend giving it a try!
