“Creative and delicious cakes“

“I have always curious about HY high tea. Today I had the time and a hungry stomach, I decided to check it out. The inside decore is light pink and very comfortable ambiance. The menu selections is not much, but the picture of a croissant sandwich lure my mind. I ordered a shrimp croissant sandwich and a milk tea.
When the sandwich arrived, an elegant simple display of the croissant sandwich and a small portion of salad. It was a perfect portion for my current diet need.
The salad was just spinach with few drops of semi salad dressing, the fresh leaf and the salary salad dressing was a delight vto my mouth. Then, the cute puffy croissant sandwich... 😋 The outer layer was crispy and the fresh shrimp mixed potato salad , ... It was really good. First time tried shrimp with croissant. The croissant was not oily or dry, nor was it flat, it is really good.
Having this sandwich and have the milk tea. It was my perfect dinner. A light, peaceful ,happy feeling. Yes, I do enjoy this feeling within.
I also bought a blue berry moose cake as a end to a good meal. It was beautifully decorated and perfect for one person.
Yup, this is the feel of a high tea time. Nice to awaken this nostalgic feeling inside.

“Recommended by the French gang. Christophe is serious about his chocolates and viennoiseries. Never disappointed. Chocolate bike guy ain't got nothing on him 😂 You can also buy the croissant and pains au chocolat Frozen and make them at home. My god the proof on those is amazing“

“I think this place got new owners. Pass this on my way to work a lot and tried it. Great coffee. Just can’t get it very often because it took too long to make for me to stop on my way to work without running late. The visibly AI generated banners are a bit off putting and also block the view of the food/interior which might keep people from seeing its offerings. Same with the yellow umbrellas (always a bit confused why it’s there when there’s already an awning). Either way, would still stop by again if I have the time.“

“I'm not from Vancouver, but whenever I go to Granville Island, I make a point to stop by this place. I would recommend any sweets lover to check them out.
-Fantastic service. They are very friendly and happy to make recommendations. They also (very) patiently waited while I took forever to choose what I wanted (sorry about that)
-I love the macarons. So many out there just taste like straight sugar, but these flavours actually live up to their names. With each bite, they all have the airy, slightly crisp texture that melts into gooey goodness.
-Samples. They're very generous with their samples (a whole macaron..!), and honestly this is how I stumbled upon them in the first place.“

“some great deserts and pastries here, very nice and quiet place to relax on robson street, the mango was excellent and a must try for mango lovers, the red velvet had a little too much icing and not enough cake but we been there a few times and will be back“

“Faubourg Café on Hornby Street is a pleasant spot with a relaxed vibe. The pastry was fresh and tasty, and the latte was well made; smooth and enjoyable without being anything out of the ordinary. The space itself is comfortable, though not particularly unique, and the overall presentation of the café is simple and straightforward.

What makes it a bit nicer is their patio, which is a good option when the weather cooperates. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. It’s a solid place for coffee and pastry, but more on the casual, everyday side rather than a destination café.“
