MACU TEA- Capstan Way

Too bad their mango drink is out of season especially when it's their signature drink

One of the best bubble tea place in town. I like their king mango smoothie the most but they offer it only in summer. The other seasonal drinks are good as well since they make them from fresh/seasonal fruits.

Been a few times to Macu Tea. They have three other locations (DT, Kerrisdale and Burnaby). Wait is 15 to 30 min. Drinks are $6.00 to $8.75. Nice that they put a small bench at the back.

- ACE strawberry avocado smoothie ($8.75) - slightly too icy. Would be better if they blended the strawberries fully
- Premium orange li-li tea ($7.75)
- Bo-bo grape smoothie ($8.25) - green tea jelly and bo-bo (agar) were good. Thick, smooth texture. One of their best flavours
- Grapefruit li-li with honey drink ($7.95) and boba ($1.00 extra) - plain but a good chew. Real bits of tart grapefruit

I was amazing I would post a picture if I could so good I already finished it and the chi-chi was amazing hard to describe and I got the strawberry chi-chi smoothie so good recommended

Mango cin cin is the best one. Strawberry also ptetty good

tea was ok. ordered original boba milk tea and was little too sweet for my taste even at 30% (recommended option). also the tea had an odd taste/aftertaste but that might just be the recipe idk.

The best mango smoothie at its price

I got their Chi-Chi strawberry smoothie, which tasted amazing. It was really fresh, and filled with lots of fruits. The cream layer on top also blended really well with the strawberries below, making a really creamy and fruity profile after being mixed.

Solid 3.5 stars.

While great quality of their signature drinks, these lineups are nuts. Not just waiting to get in to put your order but also waiting for it!

It's been 10-minutes geez

There's gotta to be a faster way, if McDonald's can make an entire meal....

We were here a few weeks ago. Drinks are indeed very good. As others have said the use of fresh fruits make a huge difference. I had the seasonal grape slush with cheese foam and it was very fragrant. The girls working there unfortunately do look like they don't enjoy what they are doing often with no smile. Stick to ordering using their self serve touchscreen kiosks and avoid talking to them I guess. Perhaps management can try to inspire their employees so that customers can feel more welcome when they visit. There are many bbtea chains in Canada nowadays and customers can and will vote with their wallets. I do wish all businesses success as a business owner myself but you do always need to remember to take care of your customers who are the most important thing for your business's success.

Hands down my favorite bubble tea place. Fresh fruits make all the difference. Currently strawberry is my favorite but mango in summer is the best.
