worst food at this foodcourt, stir fried rice noodle is burnt, vermicelli is bland, and we found a live flying fly inside the box of the rice noodle as we eat! never again!

A good place to have traditional HK style tea house food at the Aberdeen Centre Richmond.

Got the lamb curry - honestly, not a huge fan. A lot of bone and the meat was very fatty. Curry was okay. Felt a little disappointed given the price.

Pretty disappointing experience. The cashier messed up my order and refused to take responsibility—no apology, no fix, just attitude. On top of that, the food was mediocre and not worth the price. There are much better options in the food court. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere.

I come here for take out fried rice. They offer quite a variety that are good quality and reasonably priced.

Yung Chow fried rice is $13.50. That’s pretty good for what you get here.

Large chunks of shrimps with chasu.

Love it!!!

They don't accept Dept or Credit. Thus I give this a 1 star.

My favourite place to stop by anytime I'm in Richmond. I love getting the baked seafood rice or the baked tomato porkchop rice. They take at least 10-15 mins to prepare the baked dishes, but it's worth the wait, and you can look around and grab food from other stalls while you wait

I live in Ferndale Washington where I can’t get HK food like this. Have to hop the border for this one. The baked Portuguese chicken was flavorful for and the price is reasonable. Cash only apparently.

First time trying this place. We ordered rice with eggs, shrimps and scallops and rice with bitter melon and beef. The scallops tasted a bit stale, but the beef was very tender. Cash only.

I tried the Barked Pork Chop Rice and it was quite satisfying. The dish had a pleasant tomato flavor, with the rice nicely integrated with the sauce. It was served hot, and the drink selection was good. A solid choice if you are looking for a tasty meal in a food court setting.

Asked to have no green onion and they didn't remove it. When I brought it up to them, they said they don't remember me saying it and to deal with it myself. Horrible service

Mambo Cafe in Aberdeen Centre’s food court is a hidden gem. The baked spaghetti is rich and comforting, and the stewed shredded chicken on rice is flavorful and tender. Their satay beef on noodles is another standout dish, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous, making it great value for money. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a casual dinner, Mambo Cafe is a fantastic choice in Richmond.
