I have to say that this was the best Ramen I have had, the sauce is addictingly good, the Japanese Omelettes taste like that were kissed by angels. The staff were all friendly. I would give more than 5 stars if I could, but as I cannot, five it is.

Update: I have had Ramen at other restaurants including twice in Japan and this one is still the best yet.

Both food and service were good. Not someplace I can say evoke excitement though. Again don’t get me wrong, everything was in its right place.

Food was awesome, great service and is not expensive. I believe this place should have a better rating, I went expecting a good ramen and I got a very delicious one.

I asked for 2 extra eggs, but the ridiculous rule by the manager is that you’re only allowed to buy 1 extra egg with your ramen order. “We only make so many eggs”.
Then make some more eggs, if you are “forced” limit too many extra eggs, can you even guarantee that you can serve the dish that comes with egg? Do you want to sell your food or not?
Simply baffling…
The Robson street location downtown has never had an issue allowing you to buy extra eggs.

After being a loyal customer for the past 10 years, I feel deeply disappointed in my latest experience with this restaurant. My sister and I experienced terrible food poisoning after dining here (as did many of the other reviewers I see) and when brought to the company’s attention, they refused to take any ownership for their food quality and responded with emotionless ChatGPT crafted responses. I’ve already noticed several other reports online which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. I believe their quality has gone down since the rebranding, but no customer should have to feel sick after eating ramen here. I have lost all trust in them as they have lost a loyal customer. Given how disappointed we are, we feel we have no choice but to share our story. I hope they can reconsider how food safety and customer services are handled moving forward.

Amazing Ramen. I tried the Veggy Curry Ramen with the in-house green tea. It's delicious. Staff are very friendly . Good portion and great taste. You can get refill of noodles too (for $2). Worth it - must try ramen place.

My child used my phone to order three bowls of ramen and paid through Apple Pay. I have the receipt and order number. My friend drove me to pick up the order, and I provided my ID, driver’s license, passport, and the receipt. However, the server gave me a hard time, insisting that I go home to get physical proof of the order! 30 years in Canada, I’ve never encountered something so absurd!!!!

We knew of this place years before. Even though we live within walking distance, we never bothered to try it because we had simply lost faith in Japanese ramen restaurants in GVA, as they all offer small portions at an overpriced price. We only came here this time because several Facebook users recommended it to us.

Many selections listed on the website are missing from the in-store ordering menu (via QR code on each table).

As always, we ordered the most expensive ramen available, the $19.60 "Cha-Shu Tamago Ramen" and the $17.50 "Cha-Shu Ramen." The only difference between the two is the egg.

When it comes to spiciness, you can choose "mild or spicy." As my wife cannot handle the slightest bit of chili, she asked, "How about no spicy?" The waitress replied, "Mild is zero spicy!" So desu ka? Cool! But I chose mine spicy, though it was very mild. I wonder if you can ask for extra spicy....?

The Cha-Shu is considered thin in Asia standards, though normal for GVA ramen restaurants, but it was one of the most tasty and tender we've ever had in GVA. It's nostalgic, reminding us of Japanese street ramen stalls.

The noodles are not ramen. They resemble noodles found in Chinese noodle restaurants. The texture is good, but I still prefer traditional ramen noodles. Sorry, you don't get to choose the type of noodles.

The broth is creamy and delicious, reminiscent of traditional pork bone broth, but in this case, it was chicken broth.  A very heavy, thick, creamy taste. I drank every drop. Yum! 👍

One Facebook user said, "Amount is huge, too much for one person." LOL. I beg to differ, maybe for extra small eaters. For me, a medium eater, it was just right. My wife, a small eater, ate the whole bowl (with egg) in no time.

We were In and out of the restaurant in under 30 minutes. At 2:37 p.m., when we checked out, the restaurant was completely empty.

Unlike traditional Japanese restaurant, they don't close and take breaks in the middle of the afternoon. They are one of the hardest working run-by-Japanese Japanese restaurants in GVA 👍👍👍

Hasta La Vista, baby! We will be back!

We were recommended to try this place after a costco run.
We arrived after the dinner rush so there was no wait. We tried the curry veg ramen and the other one with nuts in it. Both were unique and good. I enjoyed the thinner style of noodles they offer.
Good portions and on par with pricing with other ramen restaurants.
Would return on a cold day.

This location may look hidden, but from the line up section outside and the fact that it was almost full on a week day lunch time, it's good sign!! It was delicious as advertised. Creamy chicken broth, both regular and spicy were flavorful and full of umami. The egg yolk was runny to the perfection and from the color of the white part, they marinated the eggs for quite some time. The pork was tender, the seaweed added a good texture and taste, simple bowl makes me happy.
