Traditional Hong Kong flavour with fresh ingredients indeed, staff are so friendly. Love it, tastes real Cantonese food.

I don't know why there are such bad reviews. It is a typical HK cafe. The selection is plentiful but we usually come here for breakfast (i.e., rice rolls, congee, eggs, pineapple bun, etc.). The restaurant is small and could probably be tidier but as I said before, it's a typical HK cafe. The rice rolls are delicious with lots of different choices in toppings. I've been back a few times and will continue to come back!

If you want to try the most authentic clay pot rice, this is arguably the best in all of Vancouver.

We went to Lido Restaurant, renowned for its exceptional claypot rice and freshly baked pineapple buns with creamy butter, but it was unfortunately closed on a Monday. As an alternative, we decided to try Master Rice Roll Cafe, which advertised its claypot rice. This was our first visit to the cafe, and we sampled two claypot rice dishes with yuchoy, along with carrot and radish cakes served on one plate. When we asked the staff to identify which was which, Aying was incredibly rude in her response. She slammed the chopsticks down in front of us, which was completely unacceptable for any dining experience.

Despite Aying's terrible attitude, Mandy's service was commendable. She was respectful and even apologized for Aying's behavior. However, regarding the claypot rice, it was bland and needed soy sauce to add flavor. Additionally, the radish and carrot cakes were tough and not worth the price we paid. Be aware that they only accept cash payments, which could lead to significant issues if you're not prepared.

The dining area itself is small and untidy, with dirty dishes piled in a large plastic container at the entrance, exposed and unappealing. I do not recommend this place unless you're prepared to take some serious risks.

This restaurant is very good and I go here whenever I’m craving some Hong Kong style dishes. The rice rolls are very good and thick and rich flavorful, and the servers are really nice to children. The congee was also very good and very delicious and will be coming back!

this small restaurant is in a very causal cozy setting tugged in a quiet corner of a strip mall.

One of the best Cantonese rice roll in Richmond. The special soy sauce for rice roll is served in a warm ceramic pot, very authentic. I also ordered fish congee with plain congee base, so I can add my salt to suite my low sodium diet.

It is one of the worst restaurants I tried. The rice rolls and congees are very poorly made. The ingredients tasted bad and a lot worse than homemade or any other restaurants around. I am surprised that a place like restaurant like this can survive.

Delicious! One server was very friendly and helpful, especially as we had a toddler with us.

Congee is creamy taste ok. Don’t really like rice roll with veggies tho.
