I don’t really mind if the servers don’t always have a good attitude to smile or say “thank you” or wipe the tables properly. We all have bad days. But to then have the audacity to complain about the tip is just rude and frankly uncultured behaviour.

We were there around 11am, easy to get a table for 2. The shop is small. The lady that served us speaks English, Cantonese & Mandarin, very polite. We ordered 牛雜,炸兩,及第粥. Congee is good, the Fried Chinese Donut Rice Roll (炸兩) looks good but the donut wasn't crisy, a lot of white sesame as toppings, one special like is the warm soya sauce in the small teapot, very thoughtful. The Beef Offal (牛雜) with only white radish, Beef intestines (牛腸) and tripe (牛肚), small portion, comparatively quite expensive but if you like intestines, not much places have the intestines in beef offal. Congee is good, all dishes served hot, no rush if you are there early. avoid the crowd and enjoy!!

Rice rolls, porridge, Taishan glutinous rice balls, and bacon rice dumplings are all good. Authentic hometown taste. The portion is plentiful and delicious, highly recommended.

Rice roll ingredients are a bit on the saltier side otherwise I think they are comparable to the Richmond Market one. Cured claypot rice and pineapple oil came piping hot with beautiful crispy rice.
Food quality and service are unexpectedly good!

Surprisingly, this small restaurant is a treasure. It has a lot of hometown delicacies that are rarely available outside. There are Taishan glutinous rice balls, paparazzi noodles, and Taishan bacon rice dumplings. They are very cheap at only $13 for 3 pieces. I chose this time. I ordered the gochujang noodle soup base which is very delicious and the cured meat claypot rice. I heard that the cured meat is marinated by themselves. No wonder it is so delicious and has the taste of hometown. The western toast and parsley oil are also highly recommended. The checkout is also very convenient. Swipe credit card, WeChat, Alipay, I’m looking forward to the next time

To be honest, this wild D rice roll is really bad. It has no fragrance and poor taste. As soon as you eat it, you can tell that the quality of the ingredients is on the same level as the sauce. Maybe the chefs, like me, have to clock in at work and don't care about cooking. The bench was not wiped clean enough that my feet stuck. You have to go to the front desk to pay the bill yourself. After receiving the cash, you have to ask for a tip, Bodhisattva. I really want to protect you

The last time we were here was 6 months ago. They gave us the wrong congee. We didn't notice until we ate 30% of the bowl and found it had the pork liver, which I normally don't eat. We expect to have it exchange, but no.... and it was billed. Since we have a family, and we ate a great portion of it. It's pointless to argue.Today, I thought I would give that place another chance, but apparently poor choice has been made again. We asked to have SOY SAUCE PAN FRIED NOODLE, which I am sure everyone would expect how it would look like in terms of texture and color. But look.... it's just instant noodle without soy sauce.... I asked what is this. They play the polite card pretty well that "soy sauce is not good for the kid ;)"if you don't have the right ingredient to make the right dish, you have to let the customer know that you don't have the capability to make it, instead of making out of creativity and bill it to us. you can't make soy sauce pan fried noodle out of instant noodle without soy sauce... that's the MAIN INGREDIENT here. Look at the photo, I am not joking.
