Got the mixed soft serve matcha + hojicha cone. Hojicha was overpowering the matcha a bit but we liked that it was strong. We will definitely come back to try other menu items.

I stopped by to get my free birthday cone. My birthday fell on a Monday (closed), so they allowed me to either come in the day before or the day after. Remember to bring ID!
Sprinkled with matcha powder on top, and the icecream itself was smooth, earthy, and not overly sweet. Nice touch to be given a spoon as well.
Cute shop, but not much seating available. The receptionist on the day that I went was very smiley and welcoming.

I got the matcha soft serve, and wow it was incredible! The flavour was rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced between that deep earthy bitterness and smooth sweetness that you expect from high quality matcha. I was a bit hesitant at first since it was already 7 p.m., and the barista kindly suggested I try the hojicha instead since it has much less caffeine. I told her I’d never had hojicha before, so she explained that it’s a roasted green tea with a warm, toasty flavour almost nutty, with hints of caramel. She must’ve noticed I was still unsure, because she offered me a small sample to try, which was such a thoughtful touch.
To my surprise, it was really good! The hojicha had this cozy, roasted aroma and a smooth, mellow taste. Totally different from matcha but in a comforting, dessert-like way. I’d always heard mixed things about hojicha and avoided it because of that, but thanks to the barista’s kindness (and that sample!), I’m definitely going to be more adventurous with my tea choices.
10/10 recommend this place. The service, the quality, and the flavours are all amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try the Earl Grey matcha next!

Another good Matcha dessert place in Vancouver. The matcha soft-serve is very rich and not too sweet. They offer choices of tea power on the soft serve which is a good compliment and add another flavor. The seating area is a bit small with very limited seats, so this is not a place to hangout for long. Perfect for a quick grab and go.

Not watered down at all, but I did ask for less ice. I love the jellies here. I'm from Toronto and finally found my fave matcha place in Vancouver.
