Went during spring break at 2:30pm. Noone was in there apart from my daughter and I and the one employee. The owner and someone else were the only other people in there, he was training her paperwork (he spoke quite loudly which was annoying).We ordered the 8 topping shaved ice $17 and the sweet potato was undercooked which made it starchy and unpleasant. I overheard them say they were out of one ingredient but couldn't make out which they substituted it with. ? Overall, it was ok. Would probably only go if I was truly craving it but there are definitely better shave ice places out there.Within 30 mins, 10 other people came in for not shaved ice plates. This place must be doing something right as people looked happy eating it. ?

All the fresh taro nectar in Taiwan is gone, so I have to come to Canada to eat it (?)This time I asked a friend to bring takeout, so I didn’t experience the service mentioned in other reviews.Just looking at the food, I am really satisfied (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) especially the honey taro! ! ! This is the honey taro I want! ! ! Douhua and sugar water also performed very well, making up for my homesickness.

Great taro sticky rice cakes, very Asian style, not too much sugar and fresh taste. Love the location and opening hours. Please definitely check

However, my experience at this particular location was disheartening due to poor service and management.I ordered a hot red bean taro ball dessert but was given a cold one instead. When I pointed out the mistake, the cashier insisted that I had ordered the cold version and refused to offer a refund. Seeking resolution, I asked to speak with the owner, but they were unavailable, leaving the matter to the manager who, up until that point, had heard the entire exchange but chose not to intervene.The situation was poorly handled, with the staff offering me a complimentary dessert in a manner that implied the mistake was mine. This drew unwanted attention from other customers and staff, making me feel as if I were causing a scene. It’s frustrating because I paid extra for toppings, and their prices aren’t low to begin with.Spending money should not equate to receiving poor service. My loyalty to the brand and enjoyment of their products don’t justify such treatment. After sharing my story with friends, I realized that I’m not alone in experiencing such service at Meet Fresh. Many of them, who were also fans, shared similar stories.This experience has led us to decide against patronizing Meet Fresh in the future. It’s a clear example of how inadequate brand management and a lack of focus on customer experience can turn loyal customers away. I am not a sweet food lover, but I need some desert after meal sometimes.Meet Fresh brings me many iced deserts. I like cool/cold stuff, such as iced cream. I want fairly sweet but not much., it is hard to have decent sweetness under cold temperatures. Meet Fresh gave me a happy hour, just enough brown sugar mix into the iced mountain, and those pearls like stuffed are not as sugar as sugar.Pretty good
