I did my research around the area ahead and locked this sushi restaurant as it has good options and prices.
After visiting the fisherman wharf and the Cannery, we came here for lunch.
The Chirashi Don was nicely packed with dishes. Chicken teriyaki has great portion. I ordered the Mega Sashimi which was nicely presented and good quality fish. I may got more fish for the same price with two Sashimi bento, but those would be more average fish.

Mega Sushi has been a staple for my family since it opened many years ago. The food is delicious and consistent, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming.

I moved to Steveston area recently and hoping to find my new fave Japanese restaurant. Mega sushi is the first place I've tried here. I would definitely go back. I walked in and ordered take out beef teriyaki lunch special. I enjoyed every single thing! Someone here commented that you can't mess up tempura. You absolutely can, but the tempura here was crispy and well done. Nice assortment and dipping sauce. Great salad and dressing. Teriyaki beef and miso soup were tasty....
