Everything was pretty average until I got my steak don. The advertised photo is misleading. If you look at all the previous reviews that have the steak don, it is drastically different in comparison to what I had received. I sat at the bar and watched the chef make my bowl. I saw that he had done the egg and later had to redo it which was him pouring it out and adding it back on top which resulted in super soggy rice and poor presentation. What was an average dinner experience...
I don’t know why so many people gave excellent comments about this restaurant. The food we had is mostly average and the portion is small. Overall is overpriced and overrated! The staff recommends us to try bake oyster and we did. Turn out it’s not as big as she described and not as delicious as we wanted it to be. $12 for a single oyster!!! We spent $100 for 2. Not worth it and we won’t go back.
Delicious and actually Japanese style. The pork loin was thick, yet soft and tender - will definitely be back again for it!
