Best Wellington in Vancouver. Sad to see that it’s closing. Great to meet all the staff there, and all the best in your future endeavours.

Wonderful food and even more amazing staff. A bit bittersweet that the restaurant is closing and best of luck with wherever the team heads to next!

I had the pleasure of trying their famous beef wellington and wow, it did not disappoint. I've tried many other wellingtons in the past and this easily takes the medal home. The detail that they place in each layer and each step in preparation really comes through and makes a huge difference in the overall product. The only regret I have is not discovering Missing Chopsticks earlier.

Felt obligated to try a higher end HK restaurant before they pause for business. Food was good, service was good and servers were attentive. Deduction of a star because for the price point ($200+ for 2), atmosphere lacks soul and service needs more personalized engagement. Hope to see Missing Chopsticks come around again, attempt was made but lacking a little all around.

We saw that this place was closing soon (one week left) and decided to visit for my sister's birthday. It is a set menu, with an option to upgrade to their signature beef wellington for an additional $40. We decided against that, and kind of regretted it when the table next to us got it - one thing about this place is that the portions are HUGE. Which is great cause the food is amazing! Tasting menu this is not, you will go home full. Which is not unreasonable for the price but I have definitely been traumatized by set menu experiences where you pay $100 and go home hungry. Not here.
The star of the evening for me was the ham and cheese macaroni, which had the flavour profile of KD and hot dogs but all grown up and feeling fancy. We added the scallops for an extra $25, and the dish was finished with black truffles and roast chicken jus. So nostalgic yet elevated - and so so yummy. Everything was delicious tho - if you have an opportunity to dine here before they close for good, jump on it.

Dining experience was great, but disappointed to know that they won’t be around much longer.
We hope to dine with you again.
Trove as a concept has failed, tenants are moving out and has just become a hangout for events.

This was an auction prize dinner for 10 from SUCCESS Golf Tournament. The food, service & atmosphere exceeded expectations & there was nothing lacking.

Came in with another couple a few weeks ago. The current tasting menu in my personal opinion is pretty superb. We all agreed the duck plate was a bright highlight of our visit. If we had the choice, I think we would have ordered another serving. We upgraded 2 of the 4 main courses to the Wellington, it was perfectly and expertly done. Hope we can pay another visit before the current menu changes.

Amazing food. Amazing service.
Words can’t fully describe the experience—you really have to try it yourself. I had the Fall 2024 menu, and I loved how the chef and staff took the time to explain the inspiration behind each dish.
The way the chef fused Asian flavors with French techniques was truly impressive and made every bite unforgettable.
I can’t wait to see what the chef creates next!
