Very disappointed in Moxies Richmond. My daughter and her boyfriend went there for a dinner date a few weeks back. My daughter explained to the waitress that she has a peanut and shellfish allergy. She asked her if she could eat the Chicken Alfredo so she went to ask the kitchen. She came back to the table and said yes that she could order the Chicken Alfredo. When her order was ready some else brought the food to the table. My daughter proceeded to stir her pasta and found a prawn in her meal. She continued to look through her meal and found that there was no chicken whatsoever and it was full of prawns. She flagged down their waitress and told her that there was shellfish in her meal and that she is allergic to shellfish and that she had asked for Chicken Alfredo not Prawn Alfredo. The waitress apologized and got a new meal made for her. No manager came over to apologize and the waitress only took 50% off of her meal when they got their bill. I emailed the restaurant that very night asking that the manager contact me and hopefully would go over allergy safety with their staff. I never got a response back. I tried calling the restaurant only to be told the manager wasn’t available. Not only am I disappointed in the lack of safety precautions about allergies at this restaurant I am also disappointed that I never got a response from the manger about the situation. My daughter if she had taken a bite out of her meal would have ended up having to go to the hospital because she would have had to use her EpiPen. If I could give zero stars I would have.

The Rib Eye steak i ordered was overdone, however, the waitress was very nice and I ordered Mahi Mahi instead. The fish was beautifully done.

Always a great experience. We have never been disappointed. Great selection in the menu and excellent quality. The pitcher of red sangria was delicious. Great service from Natalia.

Great happy hour menu for food and drinks. Prices are reasonable and portion size is great. Steak frites is perfectly done, love the chimichurri sauce on top of the steak, salad was perfectly dress and delicious. Good selection of drinks. My new go to place for happy hour.

Nice place to get decent food by the airport. Not much out by the airport so very welcomed site to find Moxies in the Sandman Hotel.

I ordered the summer beet salad and the add on Cajun chicken was not dry and very tasty! Our waitress was very attentive but also knew to leave us alone as we were working and having a lunch meeting. Definitely will be back!

The grilled mango chicken with ancient grains and roast beets and asparagus was very delicious, tasted very fresh , served hot , cooked to perfection, and was very healthy- I like that there was a few items on the menu that would be considered healthy , I'm finding too many restaurants these days are offering deep fried foods and ultra processed foods - it's nice to dine out and have healthy food options that are also delicious

The food is ok but the portions is quite small. My friend and my husband ordered a steak but the portions is not enough for a man. My husband had to take some of my food too.

Food and service okay but got a parking ticket, even after I gave the restaurant my license plate number, as required. Then was told I had to sort it out with the hotel.

Super great time! We came in late night and everyone was still in such a good mood and ready to help us. Our server (the bartender), and the man at the host stand were incredibly nice and personable making our experience 10x better! Food was amazing too! I had taken my boyfriend here for the first time who can be a bit particular at times and he loved everything too! Even days later he's still bringing up how great of a time he had! So excited to come back!

We understand it's a busy time of the year for Mother's day celebration and restaurant is packed. We did reserved way ahead as we live across the street and love Moxies but it took us to ask someone that we weren't served yet for almost 20 minutes upon sitting. They apologized in fairness and gave us a very nice server right away. Manager came to apologize as well and gave us our drinks complimentary just to make up. We are not asking for freebies but in a way it's a very nice and fair enough gesture. We always celebrate special occasions with this location as we live in the area so rest assured that we will give another try. Overall, we were able to celebrate Mom's day full and satisfied. Thank you

Our server was a bit inattentive as we only saw him when he brought our food and after waiting and asking for the bill which we ended up asking g someone else for it.

We were here to celebrate my mom‘s birthday. I had this reservation for a while. I will start by saying the food was really good however, our experience besides the food was super poor our server was never around. We constantly had to look for someone. At one point we were looking for the manager, and he was at another table, eating a guests food (probably a friend). My mom was quite upset with how her dinner went, and she even told the server that the service wasn't very good. After that our server was still nowhere to be found. the part that was really frustrating. Was when we got the bill there was an 18% gratuity added, which no problem we were a larger table, but the server did not let me know and the first option was to put in a tip on the machine so if I hadn't really checked the bill well I would've double tiped. It really leaves a sour taste in your mouth.
