Tempura was great,i like the fact that the udon was loaded with veggies. Will give it another visit and will try the sushi rolls.

We had a pleasant experience overall. The service was very quick and efficient, which we appreciated, considering how busy it was. Salmon sashimi and Salmon Oshi were fresh and well-prepared - a highlight of the meal. However, California roll had an overpowering taste of imitation crab that threw off the balance a bit. We also ordered the Veggie Udon Soup and it was delicious and hearty, I just wish it contained more tofu, mushrooms, and cabbage, because mainly it consisted of broth and noodles. Still, a solid spot for sushi with fast service. Would return and try different options next time.

Food was awesome. No doubt about it...except sunomono that came with the combination dinner. But the biggest draw back is that how they add tip. It should have been % of BEFORE tax amount instead of AFTER tax. That leaves a bit of sore taste in mouth. Yet, it's still an awesome sushi restaurant.

Very busy place. Highly rated on Google, the reason decided to try. Extensive menu, seemed everything available.
Unfortunately, food quality was poor. None of the three of us had anything we considered good. Ordered chicken teriyaki, Salmon Poke, Tempura Udon, Negitoro and Negi Hamachi Rolls.
Cooked dishes bland, rolls lacking chopped green onions and the sushi rice lacked vinegar (the sour).
Could be just a very bad night. But with so many good Japanese options in Richmond it's hard to comprehend the poor quality.

My daughters and I went there today at around 2pm, the restaurant was busy and full, so we have to wait for at least 10 minutes. The service was good. I ordered chicken teriyaki lunch, which includes 4 pcs of California roll, miso soup, a bowl of rice, salad and 2 pcs prawn and vegetables tempura, generous amount of food for the price of $17.99. Very satisfied with my order.

This will be my go to Japanese place in Richmond. One of my auntie told me that this is her favourite place and I can totally see why now. It is a small Japanese run business and they have these really yummy boxes that you can choose from. The sashimi was super fresh and the service was exceptional. I really love the assorted sushi box where I can have a little bit of everything. I really enjoy the core and how clean the place was and will definitely be coming back for dinner.
