I agree 100% with many of the customers that have written reviews about night owl cafe. The food and beverages are good/decent (6.5-7 out of 10), but service is slow slow slow. On busy days expect to wait up to 30 minutes or more for your meal to be served, be it a baked or non-baked option. Besides having your food brought to your table there isn’t much else provided in terms of service as this is a small family restaurant with 2 staff working front of house in order to keep costs manageable. Nowadays with high inflation and tip fatigue eating out is difficult to justify especially for a restaurant that doesn’t provide any service other than preparing the food you are paying high prices for.

I ordered takeout here and was very excited for it since the ratings seemed pretty decent on google maps and it was best rated on ubereats. I ordered the baked porkchop with tomatoe sauce, baked sausage with minced beef sauce, and the baked seafood and cheese with cream sauce. The packaging and visual of the food was very nicely done and portions seemed like a good amount. However, the good points ended there. They had fish filet in the baked seafood dish, and the fish filet was chewy and fully raw! I had to microwave it for the fish to be cooked and taste normal. The minced beef also seemed raw and had an extremely strange texture when chewed. It was hard to visually tell the rawness on both items because of the respective sauces, and I only found out after I ate a few pieces. Such a simple, basic task to cook their protein and they failed at it. I will never order from here again, which is sad because I was looking forward to try this restaurant.
Lots of HK-style breakfast options. Simple and fresh.

The duck breast rice noodles are quite delicious. The duck breast is delicious and fragrant. The light soup that looks like instant noodles has its own characteristics. The frozen lemon tea is also good. Other food is average~

Worst service ever, no one help to place the order. After we place the order, we wait for an hour and serve the wrong dish. We ask the waitress how long we need to wait, she asks us to leave.
