Taiwanese food is one of my favourites. A friend suggests 'Old Street Express'.There was a long line, a hint they sell good stuff. I tried the 'Chicken Nuggets Noodle Soup' includes honey green tea for $13.50. I request for the popcorn chicken to be in a separate container so I can enjoy the flavorful soup and the crunchy chicken. Food quality is beyond the price. It was delicious and comes in a big serving. This is an economical well well-spent lunch. I will be back and recommend this place.

Chinese fried doughnuts soggy & and fried chicken and rice looks and tastes not fresh and over cook. Only the diet coke was good as it was in a can.

This is the number one worst food court food I've had in years. I'm curious as to how hard it is to make the food so delicious.

Out of all the food stalls at Lansdowne Centre, I think Old Street is the best value. The food is really good and very reasonably price. The staff is friendly and even gave my daughter a cookie as a treat, which I really appreciated. You can even play with a credit card, which is rare with Asian places.

Update to from my previous post from 3 years ago when they first opened. Service is really fast. Had my noodles within 5 mins.#2 Taiwanese Braised Beef Brisket Noodle in Soup was sooo goood. You have a choice of noodle and level of spice. Had the thin noodle and no spice. The meal also came with a comp drink. Will definitely be back. This place also takes visa which is always a bonus for Chinese food in Richmond.

Seriously, a bowl of beef noodles and a drink for $11 where can you find it nowadays!? This is probably why the Landsdowne Mall's food court is always packed nowadays. The noodles were al dente and beef briskets were fork tender! The broth is flavorful and it's not salty. I am satisfied with nothing to complain. I tried this place twice and both times I ordered the beef noodle soup.

Not recommended, the price is expensive and the portion is small, and there is an extra 75 cents charge for take away. It’s just a small box and a palm-sized bag, and I didn’t tell you in advance that I would charge money. The specific portion size is probably 2 yuan for one bite.

Reasonable price for a bowl of Northeastern style cold noodles that has a mild and refreshing taste :)

The Missus and I were in Lansdowne Mall and had a quick lunch at Old Street in the food court. Not sure of the low reviews, but we had no complaints regarding the service or food. For about $12.50 per person, it was a very economical lunch. The meals also came with honey green teas.We ordered the Taiwanese braised beef brisket noodle soup and the braised minced pork on dried noodles. The dishes were tasty to us. We will try some of the other dishes on our next visit.

The food is tasty and decently priced! Got a lunch combo #13, rice with pork gravy and egg with bok choy and fried chicken. It really hit the spot, and it also came with a honey lemon tea! Lansdowne Mall eatery gets packed on the weekends, so be advised to find a table before ordering food or risk walking around with your meal til you find something.

The most horrible tasting noodles I have ever had in my life! The noodles are sooooo hard and under cooked. All the noodles are stuck together and I had to separate them piece by piece. Went back to the owner and told him it was under cooked, instead of fixing the problem, he said it was the way the noodles are. Very bad service, won’t admit their mistakes and finger points their customer. Will never eat from this place ever again.
