The taste of facelift is completely wrong. It is neither sour, sweet nor salty. It can be said that it has nothing to do with Northeastern facelift. This is my second visit to this store. The last time I visited was in October. The first time I came here, I was really surprised by their chicken stewed with mushrooms. The chicken is similar to free-range chicken. It is very tender and the meat is firm and not woody. The hazelnut mushrooms are also a must-have, and paired with the soup, the quality of the entire dish is truly unparalleled.
But this time as the first dinner of the New Year, it was really disappointing. The chicken was ordinary chicken, which was very bad! ! ! The hazelnut mushrooms this time tasted like ordinary mushrooms, and the soup had no taste. I couldn't eat it after a little bit. It really had no taste at all, and the quality of the ingredients was also very poor. I'm really sorry for the quality. 70 The price of a knife for a dish.

Nothing special can be talked about. Service was pretty good. My mom left her purse there. The staff helped her find it and keep it safely till we returned back to take it. BTW, the sour candy (Hua mei) prepared for customers after dinners tasted very good 👍

It’s rare to be so satisfied with food in Vancouver. We set a table for my birthday and 10 people ate for less than 400. The chicken stewed with mushrooms is their best dish. The skin jelly was also delicious and took a lot of effort. The boss was very happy and the waiters were very polite. Good and very positive. We ordered the sauerkraut dumplings by mistake. The fennel dumplings were given to us directly. The fennel dumplings were also delicious. I will definitely eat them again.

Went for dinner as a family. We ordered the Beef Grilled Pot on the enthusiastic recommendation of the waiter, because we had eaten there once before, but it was a long time ago, and the menu seemed to have been deleted or changed, but the fried dried tofu with hot peppers that we loved before was still there, so we ordered it. I also saw on the menu that the Guobao Pork was a new version. I had eaten it before and thought it was good, so I wanted to try the new one again.

Their dishes are large, and we added extra celery and beef fennel in the grilled pot. It tastes very good, especially the secret dipping sauce that comes with it, which is unbeatable! I ate the portion of lettuce I was given with the sesame sauce. The three of us adults only finished half of it, and took the remaining half home to eat.

The hot pepper tofu is really delicious! as always.

The new version of Guobao Pork~~ The batter was too thick and the meat slices tasted a bit woody, and the juice was too little. I ate two slices with the secret dipping sauce~ I will probably try a different dish next time

But overall the service is very good, the dishes are plentiful and taste good. Will visit again in the future

I ordered three dishes, namely shredded chicken with scallion oil, fatty beef rice and white pork with garlic paste.
The chicken in the scallion oil shredded chicken was a little dry, and the portion was a little lacking;
The beef rice had a strong flavor and was not hot enough when served. It felt like it had been cooked for a while;
The garlic white meat lacks the proper garlic aroma and the taste is not outstanding enough.

Overall, this dining experience was a bit disappointing. The quality of the dishes is not proportional to the price, especially the side dishes, which we do not recommend. But maybe their main dishes will perform better, and if we have the chance to come back, we will choose to try their signature dishes.

I’ve tried a few restaurants serving northern Chinese food and this place was the best. The food reminded me of my childhood in dong bei china. Brought my parents along and they really enjoyed it too. Everything we ordered was good and flavour was spot on compared to home including la pi, di san xian, hong shao rou, cuan cai fen, guo bao rou. The servers were extra attentive and accommodating.

Soooooo good! I'm from Northern China and this place is my absolutely favorite. Love their 锅包肉 (sweet and sour pork), it's so crispy and authentic. Also I would highly recommend their 扒拉锅（signature hot pot)and 地三鲜 (potato, eggplant, and pepper stir fry)
