We ordered three dishes, and every dish was a hit, not a single miss. It was my first time trying Dongbei cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious.

Breakfast was a disappointment. The pumpkin congee and wonton soup were pretty good, and that's about it. The pork buns were a solid ball of meat, the Youbing was very doughy, and the boiled egg was very bland. Oh and after we ordered our food, we were told it's cash only for breakfast 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

My friend and I were looking for spicy food for dinner near where I worked for the next few days and we chose this place.

The place turned out to be surprisingly big and spacious inside. They also had patio/outdoor dining area outside.

Big tables - perfect for my big belly in my third trimester back in May. It was also clean.

Food was great, too - as spicy as it should be and we liked it. We also really enjoyed their noodles - chewy and nice texture.

I felt comfortable with their service - genuinely wanted to help you without overwhelmingly checking in all the times. This made me decide to give a five instead of a four.

We don’t live in Richmond but would like to come back if we are in the area again.

I really missed north east Chinese and especially 东北大拉皮(Chinese Northeast Mung Bean Noodle Salad).
They're all yummy.
Also I didn't expect they have 香芋地瓜丸(taro ball?), but they have so I really enjoyed it :)
Staff are all kind.
I'll visit again If I come back.

DON’T. GET. TAKE. OUT!!! I order guobaorou to go and the food portion is so incredibly small. I paid $27 and it didn’t even fill up the whole container that’s already small. SUCH a waste of money 🤦🏻‍♀️

Stumbled upon this place at 8231 Ackroyd Road after a friend’s recommendation, and wow, what a gem! Their cheap breakfast is honestly such a steal—simple, filling, and super tasty. Came back for lunch, and let me tell you, the锅包肉 was next-level good—crispy outside, tender inside, and that sweet-tangy sauce? Chef’s kiss. The friendly staff made the whole experience even better; they’re so warm and welcoming. Plus, the outdoor patio is perfect for chilling with a group. Amazing service, food, ambiance, and great pricing! Definitely a must-visit spot in Richmond BC.
