Very authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine, whether it is cold Liangpi salad, pork jelly skin, or Fried pork sweet and sore, fried corn, shredded sweet potatoes, stewed fish...the materials are very fresh, the portions are large, and the taste is good. I haven’t eaten such authentic Northeastern food in many years, and my friends from different part of China enjoyed it very much. The restaurant is in a prosperous area, but inside the street, it is relatively quiet and I feel I found a good and secret place that can surprised my friends. Thanks all staffs!

The three of us, including a woman, initially ordered a beef braised hot pot and asked the waiter if it was enough. Instead, he recommended the big braised pork belly and steamed pork pot to us. Finally, we listened to his suggestion and ordered the beef hot pot. Not bad, the portion was big enough, but I didn’t finish all three dishes. I took them away and it felt like the waiter just wanted you to order more dishes. It didn’t feel very good.

You absolutely must try the beef pot here. It's packed with various cuts of beef, incredibly flavorful, and comes in a generous portion that easily serves 3-4 people. It pairs perfectly with the lettuce wraps and rice. We also tried the Guo Bao Pork and the Gan Guo vegetables, both of which were delicious. I hadn't experienced Dong Bei cuisine before, but the dishes here at Once More were truly delightful and enjoyable.
