The food was delicious, but be mindful of the bill. We only realized after leaving that we were charged twice for the takeaway containers.

Google review shows 4.1 for this place. Joke? lol. Where I came from, this is very authentic Suzhou / Shanghai cuisine. At par with those high quality restaurants in Shanghai. Three days in a row dine in here, food quality is very consistent and no single entry was disappointing! Keep up the good work 桂! See you next when I am back.

It was delicious Chinese food. The spring rolls were filled with shrimp, and unlike Japanese meat buns, the bottom was grilled and delicious. The xiaolongbao was also very juicy.

Fresh and tasty. Not too greasy or over-sautéed. Good service as well. Would still like to visit despite it’s not-so-convenient location (Aberdeen center with limited parking during peak hours).

We hit up Osmanthus for a snack around 3 PM on Sunday after friend’s recommendation. As soon as we sat down, they asked us to pick a tea, and we went with Jasmine—it was awesome. Heads up, the tea costs $3.60. We shared an order of Meat Xiaolongbao (six soup dumplings) and a Noodle Soup with tomatoes and beef brisket. Everything was super tasty. The place had a nice vibe and comfy seating. We had a great time and will definitely be back next time we’re in town from the US.

We had a nice quiet table near the back but the restaurant was busy for Sunday lunch. Not a wide dim sum menu but a bunch of other great options.
Biggest stand out was the black and white sesame pancake which takes 20 minutes to make (we wondered if it was still coming) but is incredible. The pastry is so fresh and flaky but delicate unlike other Chinese pastries (which I usually don't love). I'm crazy for black sesame treats and usually get the deep fried balls, but this pastry was absolutely amazing and less oily.
The "classic" xiao long bao were also great. They even came out at an edible temperature. I don't think anyone burned their mouth.
We also ordered some beef pot stickers (off menu?) and they were great. Soupy insides and flavourful filling, but not everyone liked them. Seemed like the same filling as the fried soup buns.
The fried soup buns were also great.
$92 before tip.

I came from Montreal and took a taxi for more than half an hour to try this restaurant. I wanted to eat at this restaurant. Google Maps showed that it closed at 9:30, so I arrived at the store before 8:30. Asked me one person or three people, I said three people, tell me the kitchen last call, because the kitchen will be closed early for sanitation today, so what is the difference between one person and three people? One person can do it, but three people can do it Do you find it too troublesome to do it? Business hours close at 9:30. If you have to do sanitation, why do you have to do sanitation during business hours? It makes people come all the way at night and can't have a meal. It's quite funny. I won't come again, Zhejiang People come with high expectations and are horribly disappointed.

Everything is super solid here, some of the highest quality Chinese food I've had in Richmond. Everything is extremely fresh and handmade to order. New favorite go to place to impress my guests while spoiling myself. Make sure to try the beef dumplings!

The taste of my heart is as awesome as ever! Today I ordered boiled fish, braised pork, crispy shrimp, chayote, and double-skinned milk, and I felt sick again! ? The boss is humble and polite, the manager treats guests well, and most importantly, the price is affordable! ! !
