Cleiton, the waiter at checkout, had a very bad attitude and made my meal very uncomfortable. If you don't want to work in the store, please lie down at home. I don't want customers to have an uncomfortable attitude when making purchases. The apology also made people feel uncomfortable. It was a really disappointing meal. I won't want to spend money in this store again.

Went here many times in the previous years but this will be the last one. I guess they changed their chef.
Kung bao chicken is totally different from what I used to have and not worth the price this time since I had fast food store quality. Kimchi shreded pork udon is super salty, fermented pork is not up to standard.
Never be back here for meal.

The portion of fried noodles is very large, so it is really suitable to order one portion to share with many people, and order a variety of freshly fried noodles to eat a variety of food.
The salted crispy chicken in the salty crispy chicken noodle soup is also super tender and delicious.
Beef brisket and tomato pot, just average.
But there are a lot of people, so it is recommended to make a reservation.
I heard it’s a 30-year-old store (^_^)v

The service staff are very friendly and the food is delicious! My friend also ordered fried rice and chicken steak, which he also thought were good. The waiter who prepared the drinks was worried that we might find the tea astringent, so he said he could add sugar for us if we felt the tea was too astringent, which was very considerate! Will come again next time~

Bad (no) service!! threw the food at our table aggressively. Very slow food service. Servers have no interest to come into work. They were more focused on talking with each other than to the customers!!

I love the fried chicken nuggets and bubble tea they have here. I used to always come here for their bubble tea with my friends.

I haven't been here for a while, but I used to wait for a table on the weekend. Now, it's no surprise that only a few tables are occupied. The service is subpar, the floors are dirty, and the chairs are old and broken. To top it off, the iconic Taiwanese chicken nuggets were a letdown. I won't be returning

Unfussy, fast, taiwanese food.
The shrimp pineapple fried rice was so good. 10/10.
The fried chicken nuggets was just okay. Wish the batter was thicker and crispier.
The noodle soup pictured below (forgot the exact name) was not very flavorful. 3/10.
Green telatte was good. No complaints there!
Servjce is fast and prompt.
Atmosphere is abit dated esp with the chairs.

Was seated for lunch, but no staff had provided us with a menu until we asked for one. Ordered the Sliced Pork & Dried Tofu ($18). For an additional $4.25, it included a bowl of steamed rice and a daily side dish of vegetables. Was ample for lunch, shared between two people! The sauce in the dish was very flavourful. We were expecting thicker pieces of tofu/bean curd, but they were quite thinly sliced. As a set meal for one person, the price is quite high (as rice is not included in the cost of the dish itself). If you pay by credit card, you'll be charged an additional $0.50. Overall, an alright lunch experience! Pearl Castle has an extensive menu, so there is something for all diners.

We always get BBT on weekly basis between this location and the one at Continental Centre. This location always, without fail, never fills the drinks all the way to the top. I just don’t get it.

If you want to eat a meal at a Pearl Castle, I would definitely recommend going to the one on Cambie Road.
The food isn't great here as the beef noodle and hotpot were quite salty. The pineapple fried rice was decent.
Since we went on a weekday evening (7:30pm), service was quite slow.

I ordered the ginger beef dinner. I got 5 pieces of thin beef with a lot of noodles. The food is okay tastes wise but 23 dollars for that. I definitely do not recommend it. I ordered dinner from another restaurant. It may be a racial thing. I went back and I was told that's the regular ordered. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

Fantastic, crisp, cold water. Just the right number of ice cubes, with an appropriately small size as well. Small enough to fit in your mouth, but large enough such that it won't just slide down.
