Was a regular customer at this place until today as the staff has no accountability in terms of guests & food. The food tasted unusual & upon requesting to change one of the dishes the server replied “its already made” & started pointing out the menu on the dish telling me “this is what you ordered right”. We ended up not eating the dishes.
I have been to hundreds of restaurants and no staff has ever refused accountability or turned down simple requests. Occurred Saturday June 7th at 1:45pm.

Customer service is very important these days, especially when the tipping culture is so horrible. I am a party for one, waited 10 minutes for a table during lunch, not a problem. Two tables became available but I was refused because there were larger groups behind me. I was asked to wait again when there there many people dining alone at tables for four people. It was my last time here.

Pho 37 in Steveston Highway is hands-down one of my favorite spots for Vietnamese food! While their pho is incredible with its rich, flavorful broth, the real standout for me is the lemongrass pork chop—perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with amazing flavor. It’s always cooked to perfection and served with a delicious side of rice and fresh veggies. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are kind and attentive, and the service is always quick. Whether you’re in the mood for comforting pho or something grilled and satisfying, Pho 37 never disappoints!

This is our favorite Pho 37 location in Richmond. The broth here tends to be less oily than the other branches we've tried (though we still enjoy those too). It's a family-friendly spot with excellent customer service.
There was one visit when I ordered noodle soup with rare beef and beef balls, and it took nearly 30 minutes to arrive—which was unusual. When it finally came, the soup wasn’t as hot as expected, so the rare beef didn’t cook properly. I let the waitress know, and she immediately apologized and replaced the dish without any fuss. It seemed like the order may have been forgotten and left sitting out.
Despite that one incident, I believe it was an honest mistake, which can happen during busy times. We still love coming here and will definitely keep coming back—especially for comforting bowls of pho on gloomy days! ☺️

Really busy lunchtime... my soup tasted burnt n oily because some beef was burnt. They changed it right away with no fuss. Iced coffee was slow they helped us put in to go cups happily. Great service!

Weve been visiting this restaurant for years since it is minutes from our home. They recently underwent a renovation and it is so much brighter. They've done a great job with the lighter tones and nice artwork on the walls. The bench style seating could use some cushions since it is all wood and could be a bit hard on the bottom. Otherwise, the service, the food and the staff are top notch. This time around I ordered #11, which is the house special pho which has rare beef, brisket, tendon, tripe and meatballs with noodles. I like that you can customize by adding extra of various proteins like extra meatballs for a small fee. The broth is so full of flavour. The soup almost always comes out quick and hot. Quality of the ingredients are excellent. It's a large portion and for me I take home what I don't finish. I always enjoy coming here for authentic Vietnamese meals. Reasonable prices and excellent service. Thank you Pho37.
