Have ordered here from the past with no issues but just ordered most recently April 12/2025.
Ordered takeout: lemongrass chicken, chicken rice, and a strawberry smoothie. The lemongrass chicken was okay—decent flavor, a little dry. My mom had the chicken rice and felt totally fine after, so no complaints there.
But the strawberry smoothie? That’s where things went downhill. My girlfriend and I both had it, and we both ended up with food poisoning not long after. This was the only thing that we've consumed together the past few days prior. Since my mom ate the chicken rice and was completely unaffected, it’s pretty clear the smoothie was the issue.
Really disappointed. A smoothie should be a treat, not a health hazard. Won’t be ordering from here again unless they step up their food safety standards.
Fav pho place so far. Owners are very nice.
I once left my belongings here. The owner recognize me right away after months I came back. 5 Stars!!!
It’s a no frills pho place so the dine in experience is pretty basic. Tables and chairs could all use a wipe down. The menu has all the popular dishes and the prices were reasonable. I like that you can choose your own meat selections for the pho. I thought the broth was just okay and not piping hot as expected and the tendon was a little tough. Food came quickly though and portion was sufficient. No one took your order and you just had to let the chef know behind the counter what you wanted and then walk up to pay. Overall the experience was good but not amazing. There are so many options for Pho in Vancouver, I will probably try a different spot next time.
I love this place, I haven't lived in the neighborhood in over 10 years but everytime I pass by and pop in to eat. The quality is always good and still consistent. Family owned great chef.
The broth is amazing
Pho is good, the soup broth for sure is self made with meat and bones.
But the place is more for take out rather than dine in.. We also order the spring rolls and came after we finished eating our Pho, that is a minus point.
Excellent Pho, will come back
We got sick after trying the seafood phõ
The banh Mi was delicious. I got the grilled pork. Was excellent, good portion. Nice fresh bread!! Definitely will go back. It smelled so good in there I bet the pho is delicious, I will have to try it next time.
The parking lot was full, I pre paid for my sub and stopped in front of the store and the lady brought it right to me! So nice.
Gentrified pho is overrated. This spot is amazing. Authentic, well priced, portion is surprisingly filling. Hidden gem in this area in my opinion.
Restaurantji Recommends
Very yummy, I really liked it.
I won't recommend it.
They are racist towards to Black people.I witness and experience it
It's quite delicious. It's like the Xinji Beef Noodles on 41st Street. The boss is also very nice.
