They thought I couldn’t understand Cantonese and talked about up charging 大陆人 on packaging because they can afford to move to Canada.

We’re in Canada, please treat all your customers equally.

If you’re looking for quality baked goods that are fresh and haven’t been sitting in the display, Wheat Garden on Westminster Hwy has fresh baked goods coming out hourly. Make sure to go there around 3pm for fresh danta.

Visit in the mornings (I went at 10:30am) while they still have a large selection of goods. Their sponge cakes, especially the coffee one and the chocolate blueberry muffins, are ridiculously moist and delicious. Everything is so fresh!

There's a nineties feel here. As soon as you enter, you will see three classic cake models: These interesting things are very rare to see in Hong Kong now. In fact, it also means that what is sold here is a kind of emotion. Because the Hong Kong-style bread you imagine can also be found here.In addition to bread, it also sells some cakes, cookies, and even old school foods such as egg yolks. But the rare thing is that I have tried many of their foods, and the quality is average. The important thing is that the price is not expensive. In this era when the inflation rate is really too high, the food here is even more rare. You will also see at the door on the left that they also have homemade bacon dumplings and homemade buns. I have bought their vegetable and meat buns before, and the taste is worth the price. Finally, I recommend their egg rolls. Classic Hong Kong style Swiss roll, only $9.50. It's really the real deal.

I love their 雞仔餅! The texture is perfect and so tasty.

It doesn't matter what time of the day I visit; there isn't much selection in this bakery. Cakes and buns are average tasting. Red bean shao bings (the ones with glutinous rice) are surprisingly good.

I would like to buy a sponge cake from there. Especially, l like to eat moon cake too. That's it!

the cake I bought was moldy. they refused to refund me, they only let me exchange but the other cake was also moldy! Poor service and no concern for food safety! Be careful shopping here.

Not fresh at all, bought bread at 10am and still tastes stale. Due to less foot traffic I think. Go to the one on Victoria or better yet Boss Bakery in Blundell Centre they care a lot more about the quality they put on the shelves.

Thumbs Up or Down

Not a whole lot of selections, price is standard amongst other bakeries but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy from here
