The Missus and I came across the Steveston Harbour Riverside Cafe while on our waterfront walk. It was located at the end of Trites Road at Dyke Road and accessible inside a secured area when the gates are opened. Truly an unexpected find as the service was friendly, reasonable prices and delicious food.
There were Canadian breakfast and lunch dishes on the menu but we opted for the Vietnamese Beef Flank Pho, Grilled Chicken Banh Mi Sub and a side of Spring Rolls. Everything was tasty. It was a nice stop and we will return again.

Best pho I’ve ever had!!! Totally a hidden gem. I got pho tai (rare beef). The beef was incredibly tender, well cooked and no chewy/fatty pieces. The broth was perfectly seasoned. The toppings were incredibly fresh and fragrant. The caramalized chili oil was delicious.

Very unique location! This place reminds me of Cambodia. I love all the paintings and pictures on the wall. Very cosy . Food is quite good, it’s tasty and I don’t find myself thirsty after eating at all (the MSG feeling) which is a plus for me! Their spring roll is surprisingly good, you don’t find it greasy at all. Servers are very attentive and quick. I’d come back to try their other items
