The staff were unfriendly We went there because they advertised a 99% gluten free product the cashier just said nope not today, no apologies.
Great bagels. $15 for a bagel is a bit much but very delicious
This is no reflection on the staff that are employed there. It’s a direct reflection on the OWNER! This place doesn’t accept cash, in a la absurd attempt at stoping the spread of germs. THANKS Covid!!! This place is a constant reminder of the ridiculous lengths we were brainwashed to go to!
To the owner:
where do you get the COJONES to not accept currency as currency!?
Everytime I come across someone that does something dumb or stupid in my day to day, if it’s a careless driver or an incompetent individual, I’m reminded that you Sir or Ma’am or possibly a combination of both that just might be encouraged by the woman… ARE THE MOST ANNOYING AND IDIOTIC PERSON IN THE BUSINESS WORLD! WHO turns down cash? I wish I could meet you to snack some sense into you. But that would be a waste.
You realize what you put your stafff through everytime they have to tell another citizen that , “my boss said I can’t accept cash” ??
Jesus! Wake up!
My first experience here was subpar but I decided to give it another shot and I'm so glad I did!
I ordered just a bagel and cream cheese and ate it there in the store. It was perfect. Chewy in the way it should be, slightly sweet, perfectly baked. I decided to grab a dozen to take home and a container of cream cheese.
I will say the staff could have been friendlier. Though they weren't rude, they could have been more welcoming for sure. Overall a great experience and I will be back.
Unfortunately bagels were tough and I was over charged by over $8 for a single bagel sandwich ( I wasn't given a receipt and I didn't catch the error until I was over an hour away - as I had a few things on my order. I emailed explaining the situation about a week ago and there has been no reply. So frustrated
I also stop here for a bag of bagels when I’m in town. ❤️
Mid Saturday morning, Few tables with customers already eating. Customer service zero. Unfortunately young man behind till did not seem like a happy camper. Hopefully this constructive feedback is helpful for the owner to emphasize the importance of customer service to their staff. Definitely a downer mood for the front end to display. We have eaten in once. Food-ok, definitely pricey for what its worth. We do enjoy the bagels especially the rosemary rock salt. Taking the bagels home to enjoy are preference. To all the hard working staff, the front end appearance may in my opinion can be improved from the top.

We bought sesame bagels for breakfast. We continued with cream cheese. There are many types of cheese. We asked them to heat it up. The employees were helpful.
Good service and coffee.
I can't understand why I keep coming back on a weekend! Shame on me! There is always one person that is SO overwhelmed that is takes over 20 mins to get a bagel. There is a huge lineup (I just counted 16) and she works her way through the entire line before starting any orders (I was the first to order and she hasn't even started it yet). I am in NO way blaming the employee, but @ Rosemary Rocksalt, get the poor girl some help before other customers waiting aren't as patient and take it out on her!

We’ve been here before despite the bagels being quite pricey, but it was meant to be a treat so we didn’t mind. We got two Montreal meat, one turkey, one steveston, and a cheese (can’t remember the exact name) plus 12 bagels to go for approx $90. The bagels are quite small in comparison to grocery store bagels so keep that in mind. Despite getting the steveston bagel previously, with the difference this time being getting it to go, I felt today it was lacking cream cheese and salmon. They closed it up like a sandwich in a to go container and it was tiny. With what I paid I felt a bit shortchanged but it wasn’t worth saying anything because we waited for so long to get the food already. They kept my “to go” bagel in the back until I asked for it which was bizarre. There were only two workers there, one making the bagels and one taking orders and helping make them, they def needed help as we waited for roughly 20 minutes for what’s considered fast food. They both looked sad and unhappy as not once did we notice them smile or seem happy to have us as customers, borderline annoyed. The extremely expensive price for product, long wait times, inconsistency in food prep, staff attitude and overall lack of customer service will not have us come back unfortunately. What was once a treat for us is just no more, I can’t see how I could rationalize small portions and rationed toppings, attitudes, and slow service for my hard earned money.
Food was subpar especially for the price. Would not order again, sadly. 🥯🥲
If you're a bagel lover, this spot is a must-visit! They specialize in smoked Montreal-style meat and baked the bagels to crispy perfection. From classic sesame to flavorful herb & cheese, every bagel is handcrafted and packed with flavour!
The smoked meat was deliciously done and the bagels are fresh, chewy, and toasted just right.
Services was quick and professionally. They served the bagels on flat wood boards which made the bagels look even more tastier!
Ironwood plaza is rather a quieter plaza, so there’s always plenty of parking space!
It’s a nice location. The staff looked as though they would be happier working in a coal mine. I would think a half assed smile would be the bare minimum to acknowledge a fellow human being has walked through the door. The tables
were dirty from the previous patrons. I guess if you’re hungry after your bagel, you can always fill up on the plethora of crumbs all over. Under the table, at the base of the windows was a graveyard for scores of flies. I had fun trying to count them all as I ate. Alas, there were too many to count, as I had only added up to about half by the time I was done and had to leave. The food was good- it should be for a $15-$20 bagel. I am aware everything is pricey nowadays. This place could be a 5* if the staff realized they’re employed on their own volition, so why not be slightly friendly. Having a cloth to wipe down the tables every hour or so would be nice (considering there were 3 staff on and it wasn’t busy), as well as a small vac to suck up the dead flies. Not hard to do so much better.
unorganized, slow and professional, expensive too!
