The dimsum were average. But the service was great. Still don't know why they still show the video of their not fully cooked eight treasures duck in their TV.

I don't know why, but all my experiences for Chinese food so far in Vancouver/Richmond have been mediocre. This is another example of a mediocre location.

Our table didn't even get desert for some reason.

The best thing about this venue is that there is plenty of space to host larger gatherings with your family and friends.

Fried things were too cold and soggy, and sweet things were to sweet. Honestly it also felt like everything was dialed to 11/10 for salt as well.

There seems to be something off with the balance of flavours and I felt like it made my stomach upset after eating a dinner there.

At least the service staff was good, but man they needed to give us a pitcher of water nearby or something for all the salty food.

We enjoyed a tasty dinner on a Friday night. The food was pretty good. We ordered sweet and sour pork, egg white with crab on broccoli, shredded chicken, and tofu pot with seafood. The rice bowl portion was pretty big! We had the complimentary red bean soup dessert too.

Service was good and it was very quiet on a weeknight. Lots of parking in this mall as well.

Nice venue that can handle large families. Wasn't busy so service was fast and attentive. I did find the food came out too fast to enjoy each dish but at least we were finished within 2 hours. Lots of free parking.

The environment is well decorated, the greetings are good, the food is average, and there is no need to wait for a table. You can give it a try.

This place is my go to go dim sum place in Richmond 😄 everytime I want to east dim sum I always go there, food and service is always fantastic 😻

On Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, I completed a two-hour trial shift (11 AM - 1 PM) at Royal Seafood Restaurant. After my shift, the receptionist asked me to await further notice. However, days passed without any communication.

Out of courtesy, I sent a text message to the manager inquiring about when I could collect my payment for the trial hours. Unfortunately, my message was read but not responded to. I followed up with a second message, which was also ignored. When I tried calling, it was evident that my number had been blocked.

This experience has left me frustrated and disheartened. It is shocking that a business would tarnish its reputation by withholding payment for just two hours of work, blatantly violating Canadian labor laws.

I urge anyone reading this to reconsider patronizing this establishment. No one should have to deal with wage theft or have their valuable time and opportunities wasted. Let’s stand together against such unethical practices.

Best seafood restaurant I have visited in Richmond, BC. It's a gem and the food is outstanding, they have a very vast menu, but I tried their duck and lobster rice which are a must have. The duck was succulent, seasoned perfectly, and was cooked to perfection, it was served with fresh cucumber salad and an amazing sauce; each bite was flavorful. Lobster rice was delicious and packed with good taste, at the end, they packed the remaining portion of the food which I took home with me and it tasted more delicious the next day. The staff was very polite, friendly, and professional, and the restaurant itself had a nice ambiance and looked opulent. If you are with a group of people and want to try authentic Chinese food and seafood, then this is the place, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Solid 3.5 stars, a bit inconsistent with the dish sizes, they vary if you have 6 or 8 ppl for the same set menu lol go figure typical as expected at these restaurants.

Definitely a nice place for locals and tourists from “off the beaten track” as restaurant in a Neighbourhood area instead of downtown Richmond No.3 road.

Their signature chicken dish with flavourful onions and cilantro with a touch of mustard, wow that may seem to be their signature dish.

Sweet sour pork chops, fried rice and lobster also hit the right spots.
Their complimentary red bean dessert was just average.

However their replenishing dishes after almost each main course was pretty efficient and impressive, almost like a wedding banquet lol.

Nice decor though washrooms could’ve been cleaner.

Nice to see elevator to 2nd floor for the elderly and what not.

Price-wise, it’s not for the faint of heart as our package was $298 for 6 dishes, and not much leftovers. Tasty — yes, worth going back a 2nd time.

Food is fine and atmosphere is fine, but the food comes out so slow. It’s not like the place is really packed and there are a lot of tables full either, there’s only like half of the tables filled. It’s taken like an hour and our food still isn’t here. We are hungry :((

Waited 30 minutes for one dish to show up, and another 30 for a second dish. No one came to check on us during that entire hour, do not recommend.
