I bought a box of cookies here today. After paying, I forgot to leave a box of takeaway I just bought at the food court. I found out five minutes later. Go back and ask the cashier. They said they had thrown the takeout boxes in the trash. I didn't expect them to be so efficient. 😡😡😡

Saint Germain Bakery @ Aberdeen Centre, Richmond BC. Very convenient location by bus + skytrain. Plenty of free covered parkings. Delicious Chinese bakery, tarts Swiss roll + buns + cakes. Quick + friendly service + clean shop.

Quality bakery goods and cakes. Located conveniently inside the mall beside H-Mart. Expensive though! Discounted items end of day.

Website says Thur - Sat | 10 AM - 8 PM but when we got there on Thursday at 7:15pm we saw the staff closed the gate and walked out of the store.

Very bad service. I asked the staff if I can paid first and keep in the refrigerator to pick up later. The staff was reluctant to help with her black face. Will never go to this store. Please train your staff!

Love their cakes and bread, basically nothing to complain about. Sometimes one or two sales ladies were not nice, but sometimes some of them are very nice. Their Black Forest cake is the best. We also love their Nepolean cake, very light and delicious.

Perhaps a contradictory opinion to some reviews, but this has been a gem of a find in a different light for bakeries. There are others that make specific things better (to me), like Lido's, but that would put a damper on a niche this bakery fills: The st. Germaine bun. Under the radar, it is unlike other Chinese staples and has a sugary outside, soft interior, and sweet filling (akin to coconut buns but less coconut).What I truly appreciate is how the bakery does a great job with ratios of filling to bun (having tried various types like their cocktail bun, egg tart, and pineapple bun). It feels balanced without being stingy nor overly sweet.For others that don't go back for whatever the reason, I will happily do so; especially as after a certain time they put certain products at 20% off!
Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first floor in the mall so it's very easy to get to from transit.
