I discovered Samsoonie almost 10 years ago now, it’s always a staple to go when you’re craving some Korea style food. The food is always delicious, it’s hard to give a recommendation on what to try on your first time, after eating here so much pretty much trying everything I could say try something new every time you come. Disappointing would be the best to describe my experience. I started to come to this place when it first opened and something's changed. To plainly put it, it's not that good. Meager side plates that don't include kimchi. Prices.. yikes. The price for LA Galbi with rice doesn't equate.
Their portions are amazing at this restaurant! Usually when I order spicy rice cake at other places, it's a smaller portion and doable for me to even eat all of it myself. Samsoonie gives you a massive bowl of it with noodles, an egg, fish cake and adjusts the spicy level according to your needs. They made the medium level exactly how I wanted it and it was so filling, I had to carry the rest to go for work lunch the next day! All for $16, great value right there. The seafood...
