I went with my family today, the food was authentic and really impressed us. Even my elderly grandma said it reminded her of the food she ate when she grew up in Shanghai! The pan-fried dumplings were my personal favourite, juicy and the meat was tender. I would skip the cold wontons in peanut sauce.

Food is realllllly good. We had their scallion oil noodle and the signature dumplings, both are very good. The only complaint is that it's also on the pricier side as well. I mean plain noodle with the scallion oil = 12.99? No meat?! And 20+ for a noodle with meat? I'd expect better atmosphere and service with that price.

Cleanliness is very questionable. Floor has food bits at 11:10am and I was the 2nd customer

Okay y’all, life is all about: happiness = reality - expectations. Don’t expect too much in terms of cleanliness and service, that’s not the authentic Chinese experience. Think of it more as a hole-in-the-wall than a fancy restaurant. It’s clean enough and service is good enough.

Most importantly, the food is good enough. It’s actually very flavourful and tasty. It can err on the heavier side and it’s a bit oily for my taste, but I can see others...
