This restaurant is run by only one senior man, so the wait time will definitely be much longer than regular restaurants, and everyday the available food is limited. Despite these, I recommend the soy sauce ramen and pork dumplings here, tastes like home made, but better than home made.

I went there for dinner. There’s no guest but me and my partner. I read a post on social media about here. It’s a restaurant run by one Japanese Chef. Yes, there is no waiter, no cashier, no helper. Don’t expect anything but amazing food. The menu is all there on the counter, some with faded pictures, but if you’re reading this, you can check other reviews for images of the food.
I should go there earlier. According to the conversation between me and the owner, he stopped making sushi. Few people can understand his food and admire his spirit. Every dish is made there in the restaurant not bought from wholesale or supermarkets.
I understand that no service or long waiting time makes people not returning here, but I will go again and again to watch the chef show and amaze my tongue.

very unassuming location, when we walked up looking in the window it doesn't look like much... went in read the menu... prices were very reasonable. Food was so delicious...we both had the Larmen Ramen and and an order of pork gyoza. Flavours were amazing...no

Owner was talkative and enjoyed chatting about the history of the restaurant.

Tokyo style ramen was quite authentic and tasted good. Service was on the slower side, because it's just the one person working everything.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. The building looks like a refurbished warehouse. They serve a special type of ramen that isn't seen in mainstream Japanese culture called larmen. I wasn't exactly a fan of it because the broth was far too salty, but the noodles were very good. The only employee is the owner, a nice old Japanese man. I'd recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

So glad we decided to go here tonight, the ramen was amazing, such fresh and authentic flavours. We also had gyoza and crumbed prawns which were also delicious. The owner was very nice and shared some interesting stories. Highly recommend for authentic home style Japanese food.

For all you foodies who are so fortunate to have this quality of simple but excellent Japanese food are so fortunate to have this acclaimed chef serving few but simple and the best I have ever had home made dishes. There’s no franchise food here.
I love to have this man as a personal chef.
