My sandwich tasted sour-possibly the aioli? Drenched in dressing causing 1/2 the bun heel to be completely soggy. No one at front counter for several minutes (was staff person working alone?). Dark restaurant interior (were the lights off?). 1st & last time I’m afraid. ?

People kept telling me about the best sandwich shop in Richmond. So I finally got to come here… no lie, the Samson may be the best sandwich I have eaten. Fresh fluffy bun, crisp veggies, perfectly braised meat. But the trump card is their sauce. Great sandwich and nice atmosphere. Too bad it’s only open till 6pm.

Hard to find speciality sandwich shops and smokehouse delivers. It is one of restaurants I always recommend to those in the area.

Rico’s food is amazing. My go to used to be the delicious Samson brisket sandwich or the Wilbur pulled pork, which I still have on occasion, but I have officially fallen in love with the Tocino Burrito. It’s phenomenal. I crave it weekly!!

one of those under-rated hidden gems. fantastic food. like incredible. hard to imagine when you look at it from the outside, so don't let appearances fool you. food is excellent. counter-style ordering.

The sandwiches are priced at $13.99, but opting for double the meat raises it to $18.99. You receive approximately 200g of meat. Unfortunately, the BPM sandwich didn't impress me as the meat flavour profile and texture resembled ground beef with cheese. On the other hand, the Jethro was more enjoyable with its delightful combination of dry-pulled pork and rich pork belly slices, creating a satisfying texture. All in all, I found it a bit steep for two small sandwiches. I must admit, I left somewhat disappointed.Parking: Limited if you go during lunch/working hours.

The place was actually listed as one of the best sandwich shops in Vancouver .... Well, I had to try it ...I don't think soUpon entry .. the place is simple few wooden tables around with chairs that looks like were picked up at the neighborhood garage sale, not matching and most saw much better days Menu is simple , one page with sandwiches (9) one with some bowls drinks .. prices are on the high side and you can double your meat if you wish to spend more When we came we wanted the Beef Strip Loin sandwich but were told that it is not available due to short on condiments So I have ordered the Billie which is pork belly (double meat) sandwich with cane with lettuce salsa and aioli $19 and my companion ordered the Samson which is brisket with some gravy, bell pepper and aioli We both ordered fizzy lemonade After about 5 min we got called to pick up our food .. came on a tray with open bun one side meat and the other lettuce and salsa in my case - there is no way you can put both together as a sandwich without loosing the salsa or the meat .. eating it become a bit messy The taste - I'm originally from southern US and I had my share of BBQ smoked food .. - I wouldn't call it a fail but it wasn't a big taste success either - I wish the meat wasn't warm up and would keep the freshness of smoking in the last 24 hours My companion had the same challenge putting the sandwich together and taste wise was meh - nothing real bad but definitely not something to tell our friends to come over for. My sandwich came with Asian coleslaw which was mediocre My companion's came with some sort of salad - kind of hard to screw up. The fizzy lemonade came in a jar with concentrated lemonade and few dry mint leaves and the fizzy was just a can of soda that was dropped in it We did get a spoon to mix our own drinks - yeh! The final accord to our lunch experience was that we had to pick up our tray and separate the dishes and waste - what a service ! Vancouver if this is one of your best sandwich places - just skip it and do Micky -D $55 later we left hungry and not happy.

Delicious sandwiches. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the pork belly sandwich with two different cole slaws. To drink, we had mint strawberry and ginger lemonades. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Decided to give this resto a try after seeing their ad of Tocino and Salpicao Rice Bowls. This place is tucked in a quiet and small strip mall on the west side of Westminster Highway. Tried these two dishes but chose to get salad instead of rice. Taste is not bad at all although portion is quite small.Their sandwich choices sounds interesting. Have yet to try.

We ordered around 1:51pm and the order came around 2:15pm. It wasnt even busy, and it took them so long to prepare two burritos and one rice bowl meal. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming too since when you’ve been seated you have to order your own food by scanning the menu and the two teenagers laughing and giggling at the front not even doing anything. My husband still give them a $2 tip even though they actually don’t deserve it, they didnt even serve the food when it was prepared us as customers have to come to them to get our own food. everything is self service tbh.they dont have a coffee menu but its a brunch place right so they should have that. and my husband said the food wasn’t even hot so were not sure if its really freshly prepared.and one worst thing, so there’s two other customers after us one ordered for to go and the other one for dine in but the food all came the same time for all the three of us??? like hello? we came first and then they got their food the same time we got ours??? whats going on inside the kitchen then????and as you can see, the place is dirty and disgusting. a very bad experience for a first timer like us. NOT GONNA COME BACK AGAIN.
