Is very good and the duck is so cute I will definitely come back
Nice place, part of the mall here with its own entrance. Poor guy was working alone. He was busy and yeah he got our items mixed up. But I guess I can't fault him. Decent tofu dessert place but I have to remember to ask for no syrup and sugary things. If I come again I'll remember to just get the tofu no toppings and so syrup.

I don’t understand how this place only has 4 stars. It was soooo amazing.
The psybunny was cute and underrated. So delicious you want to lick the bowl.
The tofu dessert with those brown sugar ginger balls was an eye opener. The tofu was smooth and light and fluffy. Just brand my desserts.
It’s on my to-do list for the next trip for sure.

We wanted to find a unique place for dessert while we stayed in Richmond and Soy Talk delivered. It's a quaint little establishment with a few tables for seating. The decor is cute, and the place is well lit. Soy talk specializes in soy/tofu desserts, with a great selection of drinks, shaved ice and tofu options, as well as offering the option of further customizing your order. There is also the VERY cute jiggly Psyduck and jiggly bunny puddings as well.
The drinks were also unique, not your typical bubble tea, with a subtle flavour of tofu. We found it quite refreshing.
Parking can be a little dicey as its located in a busy area, but it is free. The only nagetive was that the facilities were not clean and had a strong sewage odour. Hopefully they can fix this, as the rest of the place is quite charming.
Overall, a great place for unique and refreshing takes on Asian style dessert. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed their funny instagram reel. I hope that guy found a place to live. If I am in Canada then I will try their mochi.
First time trying out SoyTalk, a Taiwanese spot specializing in soy based desserts. Order and pay at the counter first. Desserts are $6.50-$20.50, while drinks range from $5.50-$7.50.
- Mango shaved ice ($15.00) - excellent. Shaved ice was smooth, mango pieces were sweet. The cheese foam was tasty
- 2 Topping DIY soy pudding ($10.50) - opted for the soy milk base ($0.50), grass jelly and large taro & yam balls. Interesting they give a full scoop of brown sugar. Tofu was standard, grass jelly was solid. Balls had a decent bite

I tried soy tofu with black sesame, and it comes with ice cream, boba pearls and some brown sugar sorbet. The sweetness levels were not overwhelming and the taste was enjoyable. It helps reduce your mouth palate and queasiness if you come from heavy meals like hot pot or specifically eat a lot of fat.
