Stanley's Sports Bar & Grill

Me & my partner eat here every year during her daughter's hockey tournaments & have always had great experiences. Yesterday myself & my partner ate here during her daughter's warm up & I was not impressed at all. In fact I was a little pissed. $14 just for a burger? No sides...you have to pay extra for a side. I did not realize this until we ordered (I got a burger & my partner got a club sandwich) & they brought us our sandwiches without fries. I asked about the fries & was told the menu has changed & now you have to order & pay for the side separately. What the hell kind of pub, grill or even restaurant would serve a burger or sandwich without a side? Especially at the price they charge just for the burger. Even the family at the table next to us who ordered wings was shocked to find out that you have to pay extra for a side. My burger was extremely salty & my partner's club sandwich was bland. This place has gone to shit & the owners are stingy making you pay extra for a side for your burger/sandwich. They also do not accept cash any more. At no point were we told cash was not accepted until we went to pay the bill. We will never eat here again & will not recommend this place either.

New menu is underwhelming. Missing a lot of staples they used to have - nachos, pierogies, pizzas, more wing flavours, etc.

My friends and I have called Stanleys our winter evening post hockey meeting spot for more than 30 years. It's the place where we shared many birthdays, stories and a few tears while being hosted by staff we have known by name. Fairly said we have also spent a lot of money there. This all seems to have changed now. We have returned this season to shorter hours, not as posted, where we are rushed to order and swept out the door, empty beers taps and are now under the eye of cameras everywhere....strange as we have never felt threatened or seen a fight up there in all our time?

Please put Perogies & sausages back on the menu! It was and is one of the only things I liked - even with your new menu, which is also missing important items like nachos. You are a sports bar after all - gotta have nachos.

I was shocked. I was staying at the holiday inn next door.. they told me about the restaurant next door. I decided to try it out.. wow! The servers immediately was welcomed as I walked through the door by the blonde server/bartender. I felt welcomed. There was great servers working. Vibe was fun. Friendly. Food was strangely good.. I was there for wing special. And if you stay at the holiday inn you get a discount?!

Nice simple sports bar located in arena. Staff were friendly, food selection, quality and price were typical of type of establishment. Highlight was eating area overlooking rinks, excellent views during games.

I love coming here when I take my kid to the rink! The food is good, sports are always on the TVs, service is great. The servers always remembers my drink and makes sure I have a great time.

Stanley’s grill. Where do I even start. I want to like the food so bad but got food poisoning. Having bad food is one thing but bad service? The girl kept giving me attitude for absolutely no reason and they are all just so rude. They don’t even try and be friendly like how do you even start a restaurant and lack customer service. The one quality everyone needs. Use my review as useful information to never go there and save yourselfs. This place should be shut down.

Never ever going there again. The food was so bad me and my boyfriend got food poisoning he was puking so much when he got home and I felt so sick. The service is so bad as well they were giving me so much attitude for no reason when I was just trying to be polite. They’re all so rude and I am never stepping foot there again. Protect your peace and don’t go there!

Absolutely horrible, bad service, took an hour and a half for the food and forgot about drinks, the food was gross and the server was so rude for absolutely no reason, this place needs a whole refresh.

Caidence was a great server! Very sweet and caring. I dined alone and she chatted with me. Ordered chicken strips and fries, and it was a great value for the price.

Stale tap beer, average food, and the bartender/server was constantly talking on her phone while serving us.
