I prefer to support local independent shops but unfortunately I was disappointed by the attitude of the owner/barista. I asked to use the washroom before ordering and she insisted that I order first. Understandably in busy times, washroom access can be an issue for public. However, I am clearly not a homeless person and intended on making a purchase.
The americano was tasty and the environment would, otherwise, be comfortable.

A neat little coffee shop where I took shelter from the atmospheric river hitting the region over the weekend, and sampled a Cuppercino and a morning glory muffin. Too bad other pastry items were sold out. Very nice and will come back next time.

Best coffee in town. Always get a warm greeting and Grace knows my order before I even make it. Take some coffee home too. One of the few places that sells a full pound for your money.

A guy off the street heard me talking about maybe grabbing some coffee and told me that they have the best coffee in town. I went in for a try and he was absolutely right! Had a delicious little latte and my girlfriend had an iced matcha. Beautiful little spot, delicious coffee! Just passing through but I would take a plane up here again just to have another.
When we travel we like to ask the locals where they go daily. Of high recommendations Steveston Coffee Company was consistently mentioned by the locals. We had a Cortado, Cappuccino, and hot chocolate.
Family run by husband and wife, this was a really nice coffeehouse. The owner spent some time talking to me about coffee and it was lovely. A must stop in as an iconic coffeehouse in Steveston.
Free street side parking is available (3 hour max), limited seating, tight space in coffeehouse.

The coffee and treats are good so I will give a star for that, but the couple working there are rude. They seem like they don't like Black people in their shop. Everytime I have been there, thery give me rude looks and it makes me feel uncomfortable because I see them chatting and being nice with everyone else. They have also rushed me out of the shop right at 4pm as if I was trying to stay longer as I was packing up my belongings when there were still other people inside and outside of the store taking their time. So weird. It's upsetting because I want to go here but I feel very unwelcomed.
