I ordered the linguine and was given stale spaghetti. My friend had the Schnitzel was he didn't enjoy. Should have had seafood?

Food is always reliable here. Beautiful presentation. Enjoyed the scallops and pork belly entree, the scallops being the highlight. Lemon Tart is super delicious.

Freshest seafood... try to Golden Beet Salad... yum... The filet steak was phenomenal... Perfectly grilled...

I am a loyal patron. However this time our dining experience was sub par. Service was good. We ordered from the dine out. My meal was sent back - steak was cold. Desserts were overly sweet. We could not finish. You have not turned me off as a customer. I will stick with the regular menu

We were greeted by a Gentle Maître Dee who took our jackets and led us to our seating area of our choice. The sun was quite bright and Zach kindly lowered the blind. Our Order was eye-appealing and perfect! Thank You for making our Pre-Valentine Celebration so memorable. Zach's Assistant was also polite and kind.

It's such a pleasure to be able to experience real, first moment to last, fine dining. The wait staff were brilliant and were as good as the food. 3 of us ate the seafood starter and it was amazing. The calamari might have been crispier but I defer to the chef on that one, it was tender. Then we had the black cod, the pork schnitzel and the scallops with pork belly. All fantastic! We haven't been here for years but will come more often.

Three of us had the crepes.. I have had them there before, when they seemed a lot tastier. Lots of seafood inside but no sauce and the white (? Bechame?) sauce on top was really bland. Salad was plentiful with a flavourful dressing and one order was split in the kitchen.. a nice touch. Eggs benny were good. Outstanding service from Zach.

The value-for-money lamb rack was impressive, served with five generous, flavourful chops that were tender and well-seasoned. The whole bass was another highlight – fresh, succulent, and cooked to perfection. The beef short ribs were deeply marinated and beautifully tender, falling apart effortlessly.

Unfortunately, not everything hit the mark. My lobster bisque was missing, totally forgot which made me disappointing. The Thai-style seafood bowl felt neither here nor there, lacking the bold, aromatic character typical of authentic Thai cuisine. The West coast oysters were far too small, with the meat barely larger than a 60/70-size shrimp. The shrimp in the seafood platter also failed to impress – lacking sweetness and noticeably overcooked, resulting in a coarse, chewy texture.

Overall, the meal had some standout dishes, like bacon wrapped scallops and fried calamari as well as the wild spring salmon. But the inconsistencies in execution – especially with the seafood – left room for improvement.

What a great experience. We hadn't been to Steveston Seafood House in several years. We decided to give it a try to celebrate a family birthday. Turned out to be a good decision. We had a great table near the window. Great ambience. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant was quite busy but it was still quiet enough to enjoy our visit. Highly recommended.

The arctic char was outstanding. Perfectly cooked with a gorgeous fennel and cabbage slaw and butternut squash mash.

first time dining at SSH. Shane was fantastic and the service was excellent. Appetizer platter for 2 was great, the striped bass whole fish was great and it was a nice cook on the arctic char. Great value and portions. Would visit again.

Service was fabulous. I had the Thai seafood bowl. Not the greatest. Wish I got something else

I ordered Lulu Island. I found it was bit too salty for me. Other than that, food and service were all great.

There is a reason why Steveston Seafood House has been around since 1977. Great food, service and ambiance. We had lobster bisque , Seafood Linguine, Lobster Raviole and prawns . One of the best Lobster Bisque! Loved our entrees! All of thd seafood was fresh . Free parking on the street. Will be back to try other dishes. Definely a great place to have celebrations and taking visitors to .
