I went there before I moved to Steveston, and this place — along with our gentleman server — definitely raised the bar! They serve some of the freshest seafood you can have and make sure you leave happy.
Do yourself a favor: order the whole bass… and come back to thank me later! 😉

It was my first time there this evening. I had the oysters, lobster tail, mussels in tomato broth, and cesar salad. The food was so delicious and fresh, atmosphere was quiet and calm. Service was impeccable. 10/10

I ordered the linguine and was given stale spaghetti. My friend had the Schnitzel was he didn't enjoy. Should have had seafood?
Food is always reliable here. Beautiful presentation. Enjoyed the scallops and pork belly entree, the scallops being the highlight. Lemon Tart is super delicious.
We came here for our Valentine’s Day dinner and had such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely incredible... The mussels, scallops, and lobster bisque were all cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
A special thank you to our server, Aaron, who was extremely welcoming, attentive, and made our night even more enjoyable. His service truly elevated the whole experience.
We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service!

The restaurant had decent ambiance, but food was very poor.
The pork belly that came with the scallop dish was completely inedible. Incredibly tough, chewy & dry. The sable fish tasted decent, but there was zero care put into the sides. The fish was placed over a literal dry pile of unseasoned rice and vegetables. No sauce at all. Lobster bisque was good though.
Not once did the server come to check up on how was the food was throughout the night. Disappointing experience.

Freshest seafood... try to Golden Beet Salad... yum... The filet steak was phenomenal... Perfectly grilled...
Food service people are fantastic here! Filling and delicious food. We were hungry and forgot to take photos. We had the sampler dish with bacon wrapped scallops, calamari..dipping sauce was yummy, we ordered cauliflower fritters made very differently on a patty shape with sauces in top served on a crispy yam chip, nice blend of soft and crunchy. For Mains, we had seafood linguini, vegetarians linguini, crab cakes, striped sea bass (fried so crisp we were eating the fins!) it was like chips... delicious! I'd go back again to try their other foods on the menu!

I am a loyal patron. However this time our dining experience was sub par. Service was good. We ordered from the dine out. My meal was sent back - steak was cold. Desserts were overly sweet. We could not finish. You have not turned me off as a customer. I will stick with the regular menu
We were greeted by a Gentle Maître Dee who took our jackets and led us to our seating area of our choice. The sun was quite bright and Zach kindly lowered the blind. Our Order was eye-appealing and perfect! Thank You for making our Pre-Valentine Celebration so memorable. Zach's Assistant was also polite and kind.

Street parking. Loud. Crowded. 7pm reservations. Not a bad layout, not cramped seating. Dine Out Vancouver menu. Good selections. Good wine list and price. Friendly helpful staff. Food very tasty, served hot. Will probably go back but earlier time to avoid crowds.

It's such a pleasure to be able to experience real, first moment to last, fine dining. The wait staff were brilliant and were as good as the food. 3 of us ate the seafood starter and it was amazing. The calamari might have been crispier but I defer to the chef on that one, it was tender. Then we had the black cod, the pork schnitzel and the scallops with pork belly. All fantastic! We haven't been here for years but will come more often.
Updating this older revue.I had dinner there last night.last year they had some damage from a fire next door, this resulted in some renovations and a few menu changes. I am not sure how or why but the food is actually even better now. Service is still great and atmosphere even better.
It's been a top Steveston restaurant for 40 years plus. Still kinda old school but some newer menu items also. end of the night I wondered why I don't come here more often. Tina our waitress was excellent a real pro bringing a high end feel to a restaurant that has a slightly casual vibe for a this type of restaurant.

Three of us had the crepes.. I have had them there before, when they seemed a lot tastier. Lots of seafood inside but no sauce and the white (? Bechame?) sauce on top was really bland. Salad was plentiful with a flavourful dressing and one order was split in the kitchen.. a nice touch. Eggs benny were good. Outstanding service from Zach.
