We ordered oshi party tray and the uni on top is obviously dark and taste bad, they charge for $150 with this quality??? Seriously?? We have to throw all the uni on the top to avoid get sick.

Fish is good quality, but phone line is hit or miss. That and they got my order wrong a few times.
Plus side is the chefs actually know how to cut their sashimi; the chirashi don is top tier in terms of looks and taste. The assorted sushi sets are not bad either.

I got the assorted sushi lover combo thinking it was 2 sets, though it turned out to be one (so don’t make that mistake). The wagyu wasn’t bad, but I think the uni wasn’t the best (it was almost like paste when I had it). The salmon belly had a really tough chewy portion, so that was also a miss for me. I’d still order from them out of convenience, but would probably look for the expensive sets elsewhere if I were to splurge.

Best price for o-toro/chutoro in lower mainland, heck maybe all of canada. Quality isn't as good as say the $$$$ omakase places, but thats fine by me, because I want to eat 10 pieces of chutoro to myself. Gr8 prices on specialty rolls and good prices on combos.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here, especially because of a serious health concern that was ignored. I waited a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes for a very simple order (two sushi rolls and a bento box), including waiting physically in-store for 30 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. Throughout the entire wait, the staff were not communicative or apologetic, only telling me to “wait a few more minutes” with no clear updates.

More importantly, I had left specific notes on my order about food intolerances and allergies — I requested no avocado due to an intolerance, and I clearly noted that my partner has a fish allergy. Despite this, my partner suffered an allergic reaction after eating the food, indicating clear cross-contamination. This is extremely serious and could have resulted in a medical emergency. It’s upsetting and unacceptable that a restaurant would ignore such critical information regarding a customer’s health.

The food itself was mediocre and not worth the excessive wait. Given the poor service, lack of care for customer safety, and overall experience, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere — there are much better options in Richmond that are safer, more respectful, and more reliable.

Tried Bento Box A at Sushi Lovers and overall, it seemed like great value at $11 ($12 with my upgrade to the salmon avocado roll). The sushi, salad, seaweed, miso soup and orange slice were all fresh and delicious — I really enjoyed that part.

Unfortunately, the chicken teriyaki was a big letdown. It was dry, tough, and tasted like it had just come out of the fridge and been microwaved. Pretty much inedible. Based on that experience, I wouldn’t order this bento again.

That said, I’d still come back to try their beef version of the bento and more sushi options. If I do return, I’ll definitely ask how the chicken is prepared — I suspect it’s not made fresh and just reheated.

Ordered a sushi combo for lunch and it was so fresh! Just got back from Japan and was having sushi withdrawals when I stumbled across this place. So glad I did! Great nigiri!! Will be coming back to try the other items!

Bento boxes are great values, the red roll is a must get.

Great take out place for sushi. Being doing takeout for a while here, the food is great and very quick. A fair amount of parking outside.

I bought 2 dozen fresh and creamy royal miyaki kaki pon and fresh crunchy hamachi toro sashimi. They are so thoughtful, they gave me some lemon, wasabi, sauce for fresh oysters and soy sauce on the side.
