Amazing shop - it’s a shame that’s it’s buried inside a grotesque shopping mall.

This tea store is for sure worth a visit. The staff was very friendly, and gave me a great deal on 2 puerh tea cakes. The tea exceeded my expectations, tasted woody, earthy, sweet and many refills. If you are looking to try puerh tea for the first time and don't want to spend too much on one cake, do give this store a try.

It was kind of odd that they started to talk to us in Mandarin. Why would they assume that we speak Mandarin? Later, we found out that she spoke Cantonese. The female employee was not welcoming when she told us to use the hand sanitizer and did the temperature check on us. She looked like we were bothering them when we entered the store, and she looked away when we told her to get a box of tea for us. Moreover, she just let the credit card machine facing her direction while we tried to pay. Usually the staff would turn the credit card machine to face the customer when the customer is paying with credit card; that is just common sense. Overall, her attitude was that she was too proud of herself to serve. We would not return. P.S. Their store receipt does not have the quantity, the name, and the price of the products; only the total is shown on the receipt. That is odd.

My new favourite tea shop. The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I got a LOT of tasty tea for a very, very good price. I will be shopping here again for sure!

Always a go to when I'm in Vancouver to stock up on good quality Chinese teas. This trip I was running low on the deliciously scented jasmine tea, so I stocked up on a few jars of jasmine pearls as they had a sale going on. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, and they usually offer free tea samples with larger purchases to expand your tea repertoire.

I came to Aberdeen Mall to have tea with a girlfriend and we did some browsing in the mall. This was one of the stores that we visited. I came here to browse and check out prices. It just took me a while to get over the smell since it is a herbal store. I bought around 16 oz of some herbal tea for digestion the last time I was in here and this time came to price compare for some other teas.

"It's who you takin' from, ya feel me. How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?" - Omar, The Wire Stop playin' with that Teavana 'ish!! No one's selling you high mark-up teas from fancy stainless steel cans. You won't get people fanning passion fruit loop scented organic orange peel tea in your face here. If you love your red teas, this is the place where it's at, period! Do you have to spit a lil' Chinese to get the best deal? Probably. Will you get in a rumble looking for a spot in the crazy parking lot? Yes. Is it worth the trouble? Definitely.

Not only does this place sell tea, but they sell all the items required to host a traditional Chinese tea ceremony: kettles, bamboo trays, tea utensils, yixing teapots (and some were very reasonable -- cheapest were around $68?), dishes, and even a gaiwan or two. I didn't want to have to travel to China town to buy all the items I needed, and thanks to this place I didn't need to!

Now here is a place that sells Chinese tea !!! It's a lovely store in Aberdeen Centre, so there is parking all around. The ladies who work here are super knowledgeable about all the teas and can give you info on the benefits o drinking f Ginseng tea, Pur Erh tea, Oolong tea, Jasmine tea, Green tea and a whole lot of other types of teas. They are not pushy and they even give you pamphlets (also in English) so you can read up on the herbs. Getting tea from this place is really the Art of Tea !!! It's a bit on the pricey side, but the product is very good. There was sooooo much to choose from that I had such a hard time deciding. I bought a couple and will definitely come back to try some other different types :)

I bought way too much tea here but it has all been so delicious! The lady was very helpful and didn't try to sell me the most expensive tea. She helped me with a variety of teas she thought I would like and even gave me free samples. I will always buy my tea here from now on!

** Note: I had to revise my original review from Ten Ren Tea on 8181 Cambie Rd to this location which is the correct location. Needed to get some Tea, Pu Erh Tea to be exact. It was my mission for the day and I was going to be successfull. Amazing what a guy would do to put a smile on a loveley ladies face. If that meant I had to look everywhere to find the special tea that she was looking for? Then so be it. I needed to only go to one place to find what I was looking for. Right after entering, I made a bee line for the counter. They noticed me, said "Ni Hao" and quickly realized I didn't speak Chinese when I answered Hello.. No problem, English is good. "What can I help for you?" I was asked in a mild soft spoken accent. "Pu-erh Tea" I need to get something for someone close, a good good friend. It has to be good tea." I replied. The tea lady showed me some tea that came in those round disks. Whole leaf Pu Erh Tea. On sale $78 each, but if you buy two, you get one free. "It's Chinese New Years Special" She informed me. Oh! I see..... But I wasn't about to spend that much on tea. Especially if it wasn't the one she wanted. She showed me something else, one that came in a tin and it was a great deal! I won't say how good, but it was more affordable. Bonus goodies were a tea pot and more tea! Service was very good, they take cash and credit (bonus) .and later, when I delivered my tea, I got that smile complimented with hugs and kisses and so the story goes. So, guys, if you have a lovely lady who likes teas. Especially if she requests teas, there are a few shops you need to check out. This one is one of them. All you need next is a Handmade Japaense glass tea set that you can get for a paltry $600-$700.00 to serve it with. Sip and enjoy. Typos FOC by I-phone
