Nothing special. Vermicelli pork was all fat, I've had bacon with more meat. Service is quick enough but ignored several requests for more water, just gave up. Place was not even busy.Server appears to be more into eating next to me ( kitchen) and checking her phone than service. Thanks, won't return. Of a 1000 Viet places in Metro Vancouver place this randomly between 500-1000.

I’ve been coming here for years and food is good but I won’t come in often because the servers attitude is atrocious ALWAYS. They make you feel like you’ve walked into their home while they are having dinner and stole food off of their plate. Their customer service is atrocious… I know the majority of people don’t care… but I don’t want to support a business with such extremely cold, rude and unhappy staff.

Great pho, their lemon grass chicken and pork rice combo is one of the best

Went for dinner with friends, and overall it didn't disappoint. I had the #34 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, basically pork with springs rolls on vermicelli with vegetables. The portion was surprisingly large, bigger than i remember and quite tasty. Definitely a good value.

Service was about what I would expect meaning just okay. I still get a little annoyed they only take cash, not even debit. Place was moderately full, but not too noisy, although the kitchen clatter was annoyingly loud at times. Good for the occasional meal at a fair price.

Any of the numerous Thai Son locations across the Lower Mainland serves the BEST rice dishes out of all Vietnamese restaurants. 5/5!

I used to go to the Vancouver locations when I lived there, but since moving to Richmond, this is one of three vietnamese restaurants that I would highly recommend. My husband and I only ever order #24 & #25 at this location because no other vietnamese restaurant makes dry noodles like Thai Son. We are obsessed. Ask for the chili oil!!
Quick service, cash only (which is the only downside, but doesn't deter us one bit).

I recently visited Thai Sun with my husband to enjoy some food. I ordered the lemongrass chicken with rice, and I have to say, the food was delicious. The place wasn’t crowded, which was nice. However, my experience was marred by the behavior of the staff. We asked for a table for two, and instead of a greeting, the server simply pointed us to a table. During the meal, no one greeted us, though the staff was clearly more enthusiastic and welcoming to other customers. While I really enjoyed the food, the service was disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

It has been awhile since last visit
Surprisingly, very quiet on a Sunday evening
Food is ok I wouldn’t say extraordinary but portion is big and price is decent
The only thing is servers are quite slow

My wife and I have been to this Thai Son multiple times as it is close to Walmart for grocery shopping.

The restaurant is very spacious and clean plus there is plenty of seating. The servers are always very friendly so it's a very comfortable environment while enjoying your meal.

My wife ordered the Pho Dac Biet which is their house special combination beef (different types like rare beef, tendon, tripe, etc) with rice noodles in soup. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, the meat was plentiful while the soup had great umami beef taste.

I ordered their Banh Xeo Rau Song which is a special vietnamese crispy crepe that had pork, shrimp, squid and different veggies inside it. Even though the crepe looks like it is an egg, it is actually made out of rice flour, water and turmeric powder. Also this dish comes with side veggies that you would use the lettuce to make a wrap with the Banh Xeo and add other veggies like pickled daikon, pickled carrots and cucumbers with fish sauce. It was so yummy.

Will definitely be coming back here again.

Solid. Price has gone up, but portions are good. Soup base tastes different, perhaps owners changed.

Good food but the cash only is a little annoying. I also didn't know how the staff made me feel rushed to order my food. I would eat there again, possibly.

The food is fine, but we were given cups with used tissue in it. Be careful when coming here.
