For those who eat only halal or vegetarian food, it’s important to note that the fries are fried in the same oil as pork, and the shrimp is boiled in the same water as chicken. I wish they’d separate these to accommodate more people especially at a seafood-focused restaurant where it should be possible.

Manager was adamant that if we order extra sauce, it has to be in the bag. Never outside. We tried everything to explain that we've always paid extra and had it this way, with no luck claiming it's head office decision. Not exactly customer centric approach. Food was still good though.

A week ago I Had the mussels bag alongside the fried rice fries shrimp and shrimp bag.

Everything was good at first, until maybe half way through meal and 10 mussels in. I had this sudden sick feeling and went to the washroom.

Straight up vomit everything. I’m sure it was just frozen mussels cooked with the sauce. But it did not sit well. Went back and finished the other food.

Will not be returning again. Although it’s been a go to for years. Staff was attentative but I feel uncomfortable bringing this situation up to the staff. The sickness still remains a few days later.

As much as I wanted to like it, the food that I ordered was too salty and not tasty at all. Also think it's overpriced and not worth the money.

It looked good on paper and in our minds but when it came to actually dining at Captain's Boil reality set in that we didn't like it much at all. The food tasted the same even with different flavours. And why do they give us plastic bags of food when they could just toss it in a metal bowl? I found the plastic bag concept wasteful. By the time we finished one bag of food, and emptied the next batch the food already gotten cold. The food was pretty expensive for what it was too. I would not recommend this style of dining at the pricepoint offered. Sorry, but I would not return anytime soon. Booth seats were a bit greasy too.

Had a great dinner here. The atmosphere is laid-back, casual and fun. It's all about eating good seafood, getting messy and having a good time. The service was really good, the staff were present and got us everything we needed.

We were two people and ordered the Captain’s Platter. It was amazing. All the ingredients in the platter were fresh, hot and delicious. We would definitely come here again to enjoy the amazing food they provide.
