The Captain's Boil

I went for a dinner date with my sister at the Richmond location. There were plenty of tables available, no wait time. They've got a few options to choose from, depending on the size of your party. Or you can order a la carte items. Seafood is market priced. King and/or Dungeness crab legs and lobsters are only included in the largest feast option. Market pricing is not on the menu but they do have a sign with all the info, hanging inside the restaurant.
Quite pricey but The seafood fried rice is so amazing!! Definitely worth a try!! ?

Avoid Captain Boil at all costs! It used to be decent back in 2023 with fresh seafood, but now it’s a disaster. I ate shrimp and mussels, and they were so bad, I ended up with diarrhea. The quality has completely tanked—just a terrible experience.

Prices are so expensive , they gave you half corn for $3 which it is 50 cent per one in walmart , every time we visit they increase prices and they said it is market

It's like fast food for seafood. The seafood was overcooked, flavour wasn't great, and not a good place of looking for fresh seafood

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Captain’s Boil, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy, modern design that makes you feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to make sure everything was perfect.

But the highlight was, without a doubt, the food! The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, with fresh ingredients that made every bite a delight. Whether you’re craving seafood, hearty bowls, or unique flavor combinations, Captain’s Boil delivers on every front. Their signature bowls are creative, generously portioned, and bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed by the variety on the menu, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.

Captain’s Boil is definitely a must-visit, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their offerings!

We went here on the chance and were not disappointed. Our food was very good (shrimp, broccoli, rice), but at over 20 dollars it was quite expensive, as was the beer for almost 8. Nevertheless, you can recommend the restaurant with its friendly staff.
