The King Crab was done very nicely. We had it steamed with garlic & chives Mmm! The order of the dishes arriving from the kitchen was a bit slow and it was not a busy night. Service was good.

We didn't go to this restaurant for a long time. I think they still keep their standard but the price is more reasonable than the other Chinese restaurant in Richmond.
The staff are nice and helpful.
All Chinese restaurants are quite quiet on weekdays. They offer some good promotion on weekdays. They give discount on dim sum and free tea in the morning and late lunch on weekdays. I think we get free tea in the lunch time too.
If you are in this area, this is a good choice for you.
They have a free parking lot but you may need to wait for the parking. We find 2 hours free parking in the street.
If you want having family birthday dinner, this is the good choice since they can arrange different size private rooms. The place is well kept and clean with high ceilings.
The size of the restaurant is good for a medium wedding banquet since the layout is good without any pillars. .

Staple in Richmond for chinese food. Often has good set menu deals for Crab, Lobster or Peking duck. Attentive service. Parking lot can get full.

I think that this place is underrated because of its location. It's a gem in itself. We ordered a meal for two that included dumplings, congee and noodles for $42.99. With dim sum dishes normally costing as about $12 each, it's good value. The congee and noodles were quite big and I know we will be taking food home.

Got a $126.50 parking ticket while at this restaurant. Never been here before, didn't realize the parking requires registration. So far this part is not Jade Seafood Restaurant's fault.

The part that is their fault: when the restaurant staff was shown the ticket and asked about it, the staff took the ticket and said no problem, they can have it cancelled, don't worry about paying it.

Over a month later, got a notice in the mail from Diamond Parking demanding payment for that ticket. Don't have the original ticket anymore because it was handed over to the restaurant staff, don't have the receipt from the restaurant because this is over a month later.

Tried to dispute the ticket. Didn't work.

Will never be back. Don't say you can have a parking ticket cancelled if you can't.

If the restaurant staff did try to have it cancelled and it was Diamond Parking that messed this up? Sorry, the bad review still stands. Please complain about this bad review to whoever decided to let Diamond Parking manage your parking.

I would say make a record of every receipt you get when you park here, but this place is not even worth that hassle.

Service was lacking as servers were not friendly. Every other table had special dessert (steamed milk and pastries) but we were not served the same dessert, even after we asked. We only got red bean soup. Not fair across the board for all customers. Shame. We even asked politely.
