I've tried their beef brisket and the pulled pork, and both were incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection – clearly slow-smoked with a lot of care. The classic AYCE is a good deal especially with late night discount. I tried the other packages too but if you just want to pop in and eat what you want. I like the hot pot bar and the cold bar of unlimited clams. They have different spices unlike other BBQ places. The service is just ok but they have a bell, if they're busy, the service can be very slow or too rushed. Go during not peak times for better seating. I like the decor and lights like HK restaurant.

All you can eat Big Way style hot pot. Food was fresh and good. We tried 3 type of soup base including tomato, spicy and bone broth. Bone broth had the best flavour. There was only one problem. Soup base was not hot at all

Food is tasty and service is ok but the system is weird and I don't think I will go back again. Not sure is it new boss or new management. AYCE can't choose, they serve you what ever kitchen is ready. By the time they serve you someone you like, you already full because you are not sure what coming next. So stressful 😞. Also, I don't think is worth it

AYCE BBQ Skewers & Hotpot at The Meat Up in Richmond. They have 3 tiers of menu options and we went with the middle Gold Tier for $48.99pp. We were pleasantly impressed with the quality of the meat skewers. Good quality and perfectly seasoned and cooked. All the skewers came out precooked on a very frequent basis - we were never without food. A great selection of skewers and seasonings. I also had the AYCE Hotpot- again, great selection of proteins and vegetables- it was like hotpot was its own restaurant and not an afterthought. I would definitely come back. We went for gold ayce dinner. Some food on the menu is out of stock but we are not informed ahead. My daughter was waiting for ice cream for the whole dinner time. But I didn’t know they don’t have ice cream until I submit order. My daughter was quite disappointed. It will be nice if we get informed after we sat down at the table, not till the time we want to order.

It is really bad experience when my family entered the restaurant. No welcome from the waiters. Food recommendations are rudely, no ask, just push me to make the decisions. The food is expensive, doesn’t fit for a family with kids. I will not be there in my rest of life.

One of my favourite restaurants in Richmond! Atmosphere is good, seating is comfortable, management staff are excellent and of course the food and drinks are delicious! A must visit for parties and fans of Chinese style bbq skewers and hot pot (mala tang)
