London fog latte would be better if it could be sugar free.
Parking: Fully enclosed patio has heaters and is dog friendly.

Why had we never heard of this charming restaurant?! It took family visiting from Edmonton to tell us about it! Everything was perfect…. food, service and atmosphere.

Our first time here at The Storey Cafe and leaving disappointed. We ordered Fried Chicken and Waffles and the Duck confit. The chicken came soggy on the outside and dry on the inside. The duck was very salty, no duck flavour at all. The server did not come to check on us at all. Overall disappointed.

Decent food, far too overpriced for what it was. Paying what we did I thought we would enjoy our meal more. I'd rather spend $50 per head eating at other places where I know the food will be outstanding. I think charging anything over $20 for decent food is absurd. You need to be able to deliver on the dollars you demand. They were good at best. And 'good' should be the base level of all restaurants.
The staff were great! The ambience is really nice as well. Great for a date, but also not

I tried 4 times and still can’t get in a single time because not allowed to book ahead of time and no parking near by. The last time I visited was last Friday at 11:00 am. As usual no street parking and went into an outdoor parking with lots of pot holes full of muds and water. Then find out at least 45 minutes wait time😒 will I drive 30 minutes and try my luck the fifth time…..I don’t know if it’s worth it 🧐
Had an amazing time at this brunch spot! The vibe is fantastic, and the fresh fruit and veggies were a highlight. The homemade cinnamon scones were absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu next time!

The food is pretty decent we ordered an iced latte, almond croissant, and two main plates. All of them are delicious and filling but it’s not crazy good that I would go back esp with the location for a person who doesn’t have a car. The staff are super friendly and nice. The location is good just a few minutes away from the train station, but one complaint is that you can’t reserve before hand or join waitlist online and there’s not much around the area, so we had to wait in the cold and rain for 30 mins, which was a bit annoying. But other than that the restaurant service and food was pretty enjoyable!

Always came for brunch so first time having dinner and it was on point! Charred octopus was full of flavour and tender and the beef pappadelle was yum. Lava cake was a nice finish to a great evening. Highly recommended.

The Story Cafe in Vancouver is a charming spot with a lot of potential. The ambiance is cozy, and the menu offers a nice variety of options. We visited during the Taylor Swift concert weekend, and while it was clear they were overwhelmed and understaffed, the staff were doing their best to keep up.
The food arrived a bit cold, which was disappointing, but given the situation, I understand it was a tough night for the team. Based on the quality of the dishes and the overall vibe, I’m confident that under normal circumstances, this would be a five-star experience. I’d love to return on a quieter day to enjoy everything as it’s meant to be!

Clam chowder was good. The seafood linguine was also good and the seafood was fresh. The mushroom burger was nothing special with a fairly dry bun and dry beef patty.
